Something about Ribbit taking her bowtie, their sign of genderqueerness, and flipping its gender association for Jax in the form of turning it into a hair bow. On Ribbit it was an expression of masculinity, her looser ties to gender. On Jax it was a revealing of her femininity, of the part of her she's trying so hard to repress.
