Merry Christmas from Florida!
If you remember this, you are a true veteran of the Internet. The original had to have been made in 2001 I believe. In celebration of the return of Star Wars. ..enjoy

FLORIDA WEATHER -- IS IT WORTH IT?!
After getting caught in torrential rain for the 100th time, I'm starting to wonder if living in Florida for the heat is really worth it. I currently bicycle 8 miles to work (16 total per work day) and have been for about a year. Unfortunately, Florida weather is so sporadic I cannot plan ahead. IT RAINS RANDOMLY AND IT'S ANNOYING. Tonight I left work at 10:30 pm and it looked totally fine outside. About a mile into my ride a feel a few drops...just a few. THEN BAM. DOWNPOUR. So for 7 more miles I ride home (in my Publix uniform because I decided not to change out of it tonight, of all nights..) in wind and rain. I probably weighed 20 lbs more by water weight. So is it worth it? I admit the beach days are pretty fantastic, and there is no snow during the winter. But this rain...all the time...
One Piece
Monkey D. Luffy. Possibly the most inspirational person in my life right now 😂
One of the coolest movie posters in my opinion. I remember it vividly from my childhood.
Life Status -- Dec 21, 2015
It's almost the end of the year, and I'm a little irritated. Last year I told myself 2015 was the year I was going to get my life on track. Well, it didn't exactly work out like that. I actually started off the year the way I planned. In February 2015, I spoke to an Air Force recruiter, ready to get my new life in progress. It started of decently...until it got to the medical history. Now, I've have an almost perfect record as medical goes. However, when I was around 5 years old, I was sick and some field burning triggered an asthmatic reaction. I went to the doctor to get treated and everything turned out fine. Now, since I was never clear on what happened, I always thought I had minor asthma as a child, so I've been telling doctors I had asthma as a kid but it went away. Well, this has been mentioned in almost every medical record since like 7th grade. The Air Force saw this in a medical record and was confused because I had told them I've never had asthma -- which is the truth! SO here I am in December of 2015 still trying to convince them I'm not asthmatic. Sure, if I didn't procrastinate a little and actually had a vehicle, I could have had this solved by now. But, life happens. I've got other things I have to deal with. However, I'm almost at the end, and I believe it'll all work out for me. My goal is to be gone by the end of Summer 2016 to basic training. Speaking of vehicles, my coworker gave me his scooter! Now, it's not perfect and a bit sketchy, but it runs. Naturally, I lose my wallet the day my helmet comes in the mail. So I can't ride it. Oh, and the helmet is too small! Of course! TLDR; Life has so many ups and downs. 2015 has had so much happen, yet it feels like I got nothing accomplished. I worked. I chilled. I tried. I met girls. I lost girls. I made friends. I worked. I worked. I worked. HERE'S TO 2016! May everything finally go my way! - G.
