fell off the workout wagon while I was in Texas last week; starting it up again today…
So I've become absolutely addicted to body pump.
I did it. 21 days with some cheats. I'm gonna continue the eating habits and workouts during the week and see what happens. Weekends are for cheat days....not crazy cheating, just not as strict eating habits. For example, I had a quesadilla and a couple beers on Saturday. Not something I'd typically eat on this eating plan. But life's all about moderation and being happy. I think this is the best way.
So this is after almost two weeks of clean eating and exercise. I'm impressed. I have become so much more toned even with a drunken cheat day. Really proud of myself. Wow.
Sooo these are my results after a week on the Fix. Not too drastic, but I fell of the wagon on Saturday and went out and had too much to drink. Life isn't worth living if you can't live it. I don't regret it, but my results would probably be better had I not had copious amounts of alcohol. Oh well. This week I'll be better. No drinks for me and no temptations since I'll be home next weekend.
True Day One pics since I actually am starting today
Day One of the 21 Day Fix. Wow. Total body cardio was rough and I would be lying if I said I didn't have to stop and take a breather occasionally. Felt like it was a good workout. Gonna run after work... since I failed at yesterday's couch to 5k outside. Week 6 Day 1. Interested to see how the food portion of today goes.

Starting the 21 day fix tomorrow. Meals are planned. Chicken is marinating. Excited to start this transformation. Phil has been very supportive too, so thats great too! I figured I haven't changed much since last Monday so I'll keep before pics as is. Gonna go for a run in a little. Had to go out with a nice hurrah last night so I drank a little too much.
So
I've decided to hold off on the 21 day fix until Monday. This week was just a disaster in terms of eating and being slightly injured. I'd rather start fresh with a good mental state.

Week 5, Day 2 complete. My lung cramp didn't happen today and I didn't stop once. Scared about the next one. 20 minutes jogging non-stop.
Did Couch to 5K today even though my legs are killing me from Thursday. I feel great though.
And I think my 21 Day Fix is going to be shipped. My credit card was charged this morning. Couldn't be more pumped.
Did my first ever body pump class last night. Wow. I sweat so much in that class and was shaking like crazy. I loved it actually. I'm going to be so sore tonight. Best feeling is feeling your body change. The instructor was also awesome. Woo woo!!!
Finished week 4 of couch to 5k today. Didn't stop once. Super proud of myself. I'm going to do a body pump class tomorrow before kickball and be a little late. Friday I'm heading back to NJ for Easter so if I get home at a reasonable hour and I'm not exhausted I'll probably run at NYSC. There's a shred class at 730 Saturday morning which I may try to get to too. Sunday is Easter, and I will probably try to get a run in on the bike trail if it's nice. Getting out of my vacation lull one day at a time. Too bad I'll ruin it with the beer I drink tomorrow after kickball. Gotta keep it under control. And bring a snack for post-gym. An apple and a PB bar will do since I don't see myself eating at the bar.
So I know I'm not a strong runner, but I'm doing the color run 5k with two of my friends this May. I downloaded the Couch to 5K app and I'm really proud of myself. I know this seems like hardly an accomplishment, but I am so proud of myself.
