MY BODY "Tubuh-Ku" , the Art of Imperfections Using : Wood Cutting Board, Das Clay, Paper, and Acrylic Paint. W: ±16 cm L: ±27 cm This Art is part of "Body Positivity" Campaign, that is a movement to be more appreciated about our own body and love the way we are, besides our body shapes, weight, and all the imperfections that are attached to our body. This Campaign isn't about to telling you that u don't need to take care of your body but it is about to put aside all the insecurities and anxieties that come from the way we try to fit in to the social beuty standards that's absolutely subjective. "Body Positivity" isn't telling you to about to being naked to show how ur love ur body or urself in social media, but it is to accept our bodies, and to tell u that u r beuty and matters in the shapes of urself. Also this Art contained and represented me, my self as a person who have big size or plus size body, this to as an appreciation to every people's that have the same struggles and fighting it all on their ways, that's to fight the stigma about being "fat" or big size it is mean to be ugly but being slim or thin is the definition of beuty and it's totally false and wrong, the facts thats this ideas are so subjective and fragile 'cause everyone has their own definition of beauty, there's have a person with condition of having low metabolism, genetic inherent, and others. So in this art, i wanted to represent everyone that have big size body that u r all pretty and beauty, also u guys r so sexy tho💅, and its totally normal... The same way with having acne, dark spots, stretch marks, and all the states of our bodies because of ourselves are precious and beautiful in any appearance and shapes, and it is on perfections in imperfections. This are my latest assignment for Experimental Illustration Class, but i love its so much and it's involved my sculpting skill, so here it is... I hope u guys always get inspired🕺🕺 #bodypositivity #bodypositivitymovement #bodypositivityart #cuttingboardart #illustrationexperiment #sculpting #sculptingoftheday #sculptart #manualart #traditionalart #imperfect #imperfections #imperfectphilosophy https://www.instagram.com/p/CLJO471AVYV/?igshid=3nx9wv21xqtz
