Writing reijean is literally like following a difficult cooking recipe because sometimes the dough is perfect and they smooch lovingly and sometimes the dough doesn't take well and it's a sticky mess and they punch each other and Jean yells a lot while you (the author of the fanfic) have no idea how to fix it
