the one (perhaps only) thing i’ll always like about growing older and maturing is the never-ending opportunity to develop and refine your personal taste in pretty much anything. fashion, food, music, literature, art, design, furniture: the older you get, the more knowledge, insight and experience you acquire and it all adds up to a treasure of source material to create a new you from. carve, prune, distill, expand, sculpt, evolve - you can recreate yourself always and aging gracefully is all about endlessly enriching yourself through that recreation.
this is such a beautiful reason to live

hi! i just wanted to say i absolutely love your bi-lingual mingle project & wanted to ask if we just contact anyone we find on the spreadsheet with similar target language goals? or how does it work after i put down my information and what do the highlighted names mean? okay thank you!!
Hello!Thank youu x😊❤️ and yes- if I have not made it clear previously, I apologise - but yes, you do get to choose your own pen pals! From my understanding the highlighted names are those of people who already have pen pals, however very unfortunately other people have been messing around with the doc. and I would really prefer otherwise, as I spent so long organising it 😔If you have any more questions, please don't hesitate to contact me x!! Thank you for getting involved angel ✨❤️
Language Pen Pal project
Hi everyone!
My name is Tas, and I’m from Sydney, Australia. Recently, I was thinking to myself “how cool would a Pen Pal Project be, but with language exchange?” So I decided to launch The Bi-lingual Mingle Project! Basically you just put in your target language (or languages) and your language of fluency- to find someone who has allignent language goals. ie. I am currently studying Spanish but fluent in English so my Pen Pal would be studying English and fluent in Spanish! I have attached the link to the project below and would love to create a space where an international audience can interact!! Please fill the doc. for your new Language Pen Pal!

🌻😊
Also, please feel free to converse with language buddies studying the same language for improvement (if they are okay with of course!!). Thank you everyone for getting involved and just being so lovely x 🌹😊 I hope we can all grow as language learners and people!
UPDATE: So recently, I have heard that the link-sharing is not working properly as you have to now request access? I’ve set up a new link below and hopefully the error ceases! Please let me know if it works, or otherwise 😊

Once again, I thank you all, for everything. x
Our view of celestial bodies is objective, they say. But I’ve never seen the same sun twice.
Italian sun is playful and mellow, a hazy girl all dressed in white, dancing in an empty yard. An itching dolce far niente, the dust particles you swallow start to tickle your neck and wake you form inertia.
Cuban light acts more agressively. At first it captures your legs, like crubs holding you still. You are its hostage during the daytime, the bright venom turns your blood to seething juice. All that until the sunset. As soon as the first evening primrose buds, your bood is blood again. Now, boiling. Trying to step out of your bosy and fight.
In Greece, light is white. A cruel colour. No sooth curves or deceiving curls. Only severe lines hitting you, marble and lime. Splitting you in two. The animal and the god. Both end up devoured. The only survivor is phos.
Hi, just wanted to ask if you'd considered asking people to translate your blurb about the Bi-lingual mingle Project into other languages? It could reach more people that way - there seems to be a majority of English native-speakers at the moment. Also, if this is already happening, I also just wanted to say it's such a great initiative, you're incredible :)
Hello! I would absolutely love to do something like that and have been looking to do so actually , however, I can't seem to find many blogs that are non- English speaking or anyone that is willing to translate! If anyone is please let me know. I would appreciate it so so much!! Once again I would like to thank everyone for getting involved and being wonderful! And thank you lovely!! I really appreciate it 😊🌹🌹 x

Hello, my name is Vani! I have a question about your Project: I just started to learn Korean, and I really want to learn Korean and I also want to improve my English skills. If I want to Study those, should I also add my name in this table? Or how does your Project works? P.s.: Your Project is a nice opportunity for us to communicate internatnally and I like your Project. Thanks for doing this Project!!!😊
Thank you so much!! And thats’ totally fine, just put down “English and Korean” under the Language studying category. Yes, I definitely think you should put your name down, any opportunity for self improvement is a good opportunity darling x :)
And thank you once again! 🌹 🌹 x I hope you learn heaps and make amazing friends!!
