Just because media fails to meet the expectations it very clearly set up for itself doesn't mean it's bad. Just because the writers are bad at subtext and forgot foreshadowing exists doesn't mean it's bad. Just because you can think of a million easy ways to improve the media doesn't mean it's bad. Just because the allegories can't stand up to scrutiny doesn't mean it's bad. Just because the fandom has to hallucinate theories to make sense of abject failure doesn't mean it's bad. Just because you know they're going to retcon the things fans react most negatively to because they're relying on the implicit unreliability of a character to sway things in their favor later doesn't mean it's bad. Your reasonable complaints and frustrations will be misread as disgust and unsettlement. It's okay. That's the point of serious art.
Remember that you can't kill everyone
Remember that you have to try
