Today is one of those days I’m particularly happy to have them around.

Mental health-wise, today sucked so much. But at least each time I look at those goofballs, I feel a little less horrible and useless. I didn’t adopt them for that purpose, but they both make really good emotional support cats.

Hades lets me lay next to him and rest my head on his big soft warm fluffy belly, and Odin lets me (briefly) hug him, and generally speaking is the trustiest cat in the world and purrs a lot at any given time of the day and night❤️

Odin is doing well overall, although I noticed some signs of elevated stress again this morning :/ We’re keeping him off of his favourite toys, since it looks like it’s causing him way too much stimulation and a lot of anxiety as soon as we stop playing, but we haven’t quite found a good toy replacement yet, still looking… They both had their annual vet visit 2 days ago along with vaccines, everything went well 😊funny enough, they both weight exactly 5kg

I brought this guy to the vet last Tuesday, he was very agitated, obviously unwell and was going ten times per hour in his litter box :/ Vet ran a bunch of exams, said they’ve never seen such a stressed out cat (I mean… Even though I often take pictures of him when he’s relaxed, he’s always been an anxious mess of a cat, and the fact I couldn’t be in the same room when they did the exams certainly didn’t help 🙈).  He has an inflammatory cystitis and has been taking meds since Tuesday. He’s feeling much better since yesterday, and I cross my fingers it’s not coming back as soon as the treatment is over 🤞

One of Hades’ favourite activities is to ask for cuddles by screaming at my partner when he’s busy, until, out of exasperation, he basically throws the cat at me.

Meanwhile Hades screams at me only when he wants to play, never for cuddles😭

Sleepy flower boy 💐❤️  I was lucky enough to be able to snatch 2 of @freyasfloralco’s flower crowns July release and they finally arrived 🥰 loving them!  Hades tries to eat them 😂 but Odin doesn’t mind as much😊
