if Allāh has occupied you with His Book, with worship, with service to His dīn, that is His honoring of you. if He leaves you to be swallowed by distractions, by empty chatter, by pursuits that carry no weight in dunya or ākhirah, that is a reflection of your state. your worth is measured by what Allāh occupies you with. so guard your hours, watch what takes hold of your days, and beg Allāh to fill them with what draws you near to Him. for the heart Allāh occupies with His remembrance is a heart He has chosen for Himself.
