Mimsy nodded in intense agreement, âOf course, the sun can be a real killer! Why leave the house with that garish golden monster lurking just outside?â She smiled, not her typical mad grin, but a gentler, more genuine smile.Â
She barely batted an eyelash at his standing, instead following his lead eagerly. She loved when he made spontaneous decisions, having a feeling he did so because he knew that.Â
âDonât you dare tell me where weâre running off to and spoil the excitement!â She called after him, grinning.Â
âAt least you have reasons not to go outside. Much better than âIâm slightly afraid of talking to people.â Thatâs not near as heroic as yours sounds.â He laughed softly, returning her softened smile before focusing on where they were going.
He did try to do this for her, the spontaneity something that didnât really come naturally for him. She always got a kick out of it though, and Hadie really did want to make her smile. Leading her down the street, he laughed over his shoulder.  âI wouldnât dream of it Mimsy.â
He took her down side-streets and backways, nearly getting lost a few times before he finally ended up outside Ursulaâs new Fish and chips spot, glancing over at her.  âTa-Da!â
