  "Take my hand, mama bear" a smile tugged on her lips as she reached for the other girl’s hand. "I’ve been good friends with the lunch lady, she lets me cook inside whenever I want" a proud smile lit the girl’s face as she led the other female to the cafeteria. She entered the kitchen with the girl by her side. "I’m gonna go get it" she said as she let go of the other’s hand. "Here it is" she smiled as she took teh tray of cookies out. "I made it all by myself" she proudly announced.

Hadley's mouth watered at the site. "Wow this looks amazing! You made them all by yourself?" She asked as she stole a cookie off of the tray. "They're even still warm." She said excitedly as she took a bite. "These are soooo good!!!!"

  Actually — funny story. My dad named me after a family friend’s Labradoodle. Now he was a diehard Mockingbird fan if I’ve ever met one. No, my dad just thought it sounded rad. So, here I am.

Whenever I tell people I don’t like To Kill A Mockingbird, they look like I’ve just killed their dog.
