In spite of what she was hearing, she couldn’t imagine that much was only for her. Sure, she’d accepted Renn’s work choice with little struggle. It wasn’t even a matter of putting up with it or losing her, she just didn’t care all that much. It was daunting initially, weaseling its way into her thoughts at odd times. More or less, it only made her doubt herself and certain abilities. But the naive woman knew that there was a lot she had to share. “I have to do something while you’re cooking, and since I can’t have you for breakfast–” One more time her nose wiggled as it often did on account of Renn. There was hardly a time a giddy expression didn’t overtake her features. When they were out of the bed, not on the kitchen counter, hot tub, shower or couch. Basically when their hands weren’t all over one another. Cameron had tendency of just saying things for the sake of merely saying them. No other reason. But all of that was forgotten as their lips came in contact. Each kiss was something else in itself. She could never imagine tiring of them, or ever growing immune. They always left her breathless and insanely needy. Though, the kisses themselves were more than enough for her. “I’d rather be doing you, again…” All the same, she turned on the television. Bunching the pillows up behind her head, she flipped through the channels– a soft chuckle passing her lips. “Your idiot,” she quietly said. Gnawing on the inside of her cheek, she contemplated the question. “Just scrambled is fine,” she shrugged, making a mental note to cook for Renn. One day, the girl would get the whole southern treatment. Only once she was alone did her impending thoughts flourish. Not even shitty television could take her mind off what had transpired over the last several days. The smell of crisp bacon hit her nostrils though it was to no avail. Grabbing her phone from the nightstand, she sighed as she flipped through her pictures. Some were of her mother, and others were of her and her father with bright smiles. She’d always thought they shared the same one. Silly wide-eyed Cameron Graham. When she returned, Cam put phone back. Unbeknownst to her light tears and painted her cheeks. Wiping at them, she put on her best smile as the took the plate. “Thanks, Renn… this smells delicious…” The expression turned more genuine as she felt those very familiar lips against her skin. “I guess I’ll have to do that more often if this is the pay off.” Naturally, she went for a piece of bacon. “Mmm… this is really good,” she complimented with food still in her mouth.
