In fact, his purpose is so simple and concise that it makes one suspect he has ulterior motives.
He is an unintentionally mischievous child.
Hello! I love reading your interpretations of Matcha and Butterroll, I've seen your recent post about struggling to understanding Matcha fully, I hope you don't mind I share my interpretation of what Matcha feels about Butterroll; Matcha's emotions and feelings about Butterroll are complicated. He hurts her and makes her feel bad(whether he's intentional about it or not is up for grabs) also, she likes it when he acknowledges her achievements, or when she returns those feelings of hurt back to Butterrolll. I think she finds him irritating most of the time but also can't bring herself to fully hate Butterroll and leave it all behind(but also I think that Matcha feels inferior, and because of those feelings of being inferior she's hesitant to go off on her own)
These are my thoughts about it though, I love your arts, please keep making more!

Wow, thanks for the great interpretation!
It certainly seems like Matcha considers Butterroll an annoying guy, but she doesn't seem to hate him or think of him as someone she wants to forget. Even though there is no longer a need to compete now that DE is gone, it’s nice to think of it this way: for Matcha, inferiority complex acts as a motivator, so she still regards Butterroll as a rival and tries to grow her abilities even further. I think Butterroll would also find it more interesting to see Matcha feel competitive and try to discover her potential, rather than just sitting around because of DE. Haha, they really are something else~
Come to think of it, I used to find Butterroll difficult to understand. It was because I couldn't tell what he was thinking or what his inner feelings were. In short, I was viewing him as difficult for no reason. Only now can I see him simply without misinterpreting things. On the other hand, it was easy with Matcha because I could tell what she was thinking and there was a description of her inner feelings. But now, I'm not so sure. It's ironic. Matcha had been trying not to let Butterroll know what she was thinking all this time, but it feels strange that the ending suggests she won't tell the people off-screen either.
Of course, I don't mean to say I dislike it! It's just that as I ponder this point, I can guess what Butter Roll thinks of Matcha, but I like the fact that I can't be sure what Matcha thinks of the current Butter Roll.
This is a line from Matcha in the CRWC's Million Doors event. From what point in time is this Matcha in the dialogue? Is it the future? A parallel world? Who are the many followers who look up to Matcha? Perhaps Matcha could have become a teacher in the future—a teacher who teaches magic to many young Plant cookies. Or maybe her potion-making shop flourishes in the future, attracting many regulars who could be seen as her many followers. Or perhaps she is surrounded by many followers who worship and follow her, just like DE...
Actually, that’s why I was curious about Butterroll’s lines in the CRWC event... I wonder how he’s doing in the future. Maybe Butterroll and Matcha are living different lives in the future... or maybe they will continue living together just like now. Hmm... it’s complicated.
Did anyone find the butter roll in the "One Million Doors" event held by CRWC? I really haven't seen anyone say they found a butter roll. I'm also curious what the butter roll says after finding it...
For example, like this..😭
