Tempura courgette flower with a spicy tomato sauce. Delicious!
Grilled chicken with crispy potatoes. Only the chicken is halal but there are plenty of fish and vegetarian options on the menu.
Grilled sea bream fillet with capers, olives and tomato.
Golden Apple dessert - caramel mousse, fresh apple compote, and crunchy milk chocolate.

Back at the new-look Promenade at The Dorchester Hotel in Mayfair, following its lengthy refurbishment. The place looks fantastic.
Raspberry lemonade mocktails
Canapes included oscietra caviar, veggie sushi, and asparagus and hollandaise
For starters, burrata with truffle, candied beetroot, artichoke and walnuts, and tuna tartare
Rosettes of sole, verjus, toasted buckwheat, charred cucumber and almonds
Halal fillet of Aberdeen Angus beef with mouselline potatoes and red onion
For dessert, baked alaska with red fruit tea ice cream and raspberry sorbet. Delicious!

Dinner at newly opened BKC (Biryani Kebab Chai) at Marble Arch. Three of my favourite things in one place!
The lakhnawi lamb biryani was fragrant and delicious!
The kebab platter was amazing, with succulent burrah lamb chops, lamb seekh, malai chicken tikka, and mouth-melting galouti lamb patties
Murgh makhni - chicken curry cooked in spiced tomato and fenugreek with butter, served with laccha paratha made with ghee and saffron.
Samosa chaat with sweet and spicy chutneys
Kashmiri pink chai made with milk, rose petals and pistachio nuts

Festive afternoon tea at the Orchid Room at The Dorchester hotel. There was a selection of tasty finger sandwiches (including halal turkey ones!) followed by scones served with homemade strawberry jam and clotted cream.
There was a selection of festive-inspired pastries including citrus cheesecake, chestnut roulade, pear mousse, and sour cherry chocolate.
We were also served an aromatic, non-alcoholic sparkling wine called Wild Orchid, as well as a fruity mocktail.
