Small sketch dump for you guys! Ghost Gang apreshiation post!

One of my greatest joys when writing this rewrite has been giving the ghost gang FAR more respect and character development than they got in the original. There were many instances in the show where I did NOT buy that they were friends lol! In fact idk if I remeber them EVER refering to eachothet as friends! which I think is a real shame, espeically since the friendship between them and especially Pac is really interesting!

I've only very breifly touched on this in the fic so far, it's mostly subtext, but the fact that the gang and PAC HIMSELF seem to all but forget that Pac would very easily eat them. That combined with the kid's appetite problems would put anyone on edge but NOT THESE GUYS! I'm so in love with how deeply they trust him. In fact they trust him so much that none of them are even thinking about that at any given moment.

Not completely sure how much their currency is on pacworld but assuming that Cylindria uses THIS to pay for what she actually wants

We can assume these 100’s are this worlds equivalent of one dollar bills USD since I doubt burgers are 100 bucks, let alone the weird 50000’s Skeebo has. So we’ll assume the 50000’s translate to 50 USD

And looking at the stack he has (7 50000 bills), we can assume he’s holding the equivalent of 350 USD.

And when Cyli buys her own thing he says “I just blew all of my cash on this chow.”

Which implys that was probably an allowance, weekly or monthly. And last I checked the average allowance for teenagers tends to be around 20 a week. Assuming that was WEEKLY allowance he spent, he’s most likely upper class.

And considering Maze high school has been described as a prep school before, it wouldn’t be surprising that Skeebo does come from wealth. And it’d technically make sense for Pac and the others to be able to attend. Cyli probably has a scholarship, Spiral’s family owns a business if I’m right, and Pac’s aunt is both famous and used to fight in the war so she’s probably getting paid for that too.

But look at the logos! Those are from Pac-It-In Burgers! To me they look more like coupons than cold-hard cash. But still, THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS worth of coupons?! What the heck is going on with their economy? And why does SKEEBO have so much just lying around? If you want my opinion, I think it's more a bit of an indicator of weird economy stuff going on than it is pure, unfettered wealth. AND EVEN IF IT WAS pure unfettered wealth, then it also gives rise to a whole nother class inequality problem that i'm raising an eyebrow at. I dunno. I just noticed that was weird. Still an interesting concept to put in front of my eyeballs, though!

OKAY but the money talk is actually so interesting to me! I'm pretty sure this is the only scene when money is mentioned but it does confirm that it exists lol! Not that I expected a cartoon to go into class differences or wealth disparity but there are some things that beg questions!

Let's just keep it too our core three tho.

Is Cyli's family poor? Were they legally living in that tree? iIlegally? They now live in their van but do they have jobs? She doesn't ever seem hurting for cash tho.

Spiral's parents are the only ones we know have jobs lol! I assume his folks are pretty well off considering their decoration painting buisness is successful.

The biggest question is Pac tho. Food is expensive and I'm sure Spheria has her money from being an athlete but savings don't mean much against an epense THAT severe lol! I explained this a bit in my fic but I do find it interesting.

Occasionally I do silly comic sketches of scenes from my fic lol! Tho the first one is less of a scene and more of an eluded event from All You Can Eat. I think Pac's apprehension and often downright fear of being percieved is one of my favorite headcannons. Being the chosen one sucks and we love it!

By the way! Just for fun, I've gone back and rewritten All You Can Eat since it's been a good long while since I posted the earliest chapters. Seeing as that's a fan favorite chapter, would anyone be interested in me finishing it up and posting it?

Okaaaaay here's the part where I am burdened with having to show y'all some of my old art! But I thought ya'll might wanna see some more designs for the fic, plus a throwback drawing to "President Posessed"! Newer art WILL be coming lol but I'm still relatively proud of these!

To put this journy into perspective, too, I started this fic when I was in highschool and have recently graduated college lol! And like the art I think it still holds up!

Sometimes, I dream that PMATGA got more seasons

No I'm serious, I don't mean dream as in wistful thinking, I mean dream as in sleeping and having your brain trick you into thinking PMATGA came back with more seasons.

It happened last year in a dream where we got a 3rd season.

And now yesterday I dreamt it got a 4th season and got approved for 2 more seasons. Somewhere in the dream I even checked on wikipedia and saw the list of seasons with their episode lists. It was wonderful, man.

Imagine my despair when I woke up this morning >:'((

I don't remeber all the details but they were still in Pacopolis and Eli was a regular part of the team! and I could like, scroll through the episodes on Netflix. I was also devistated when I woke up :'(
