This is all I’ve done so far! I cringed at the idea of doing a comparison because my own art looks terrible when compared to the original masterpieces, but since others have done it I figured I may as well.   ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ The most fun part about doing these pieces is that I feel I’m exploring the original painters’ mind a little. And hopefully learning something from them in the process! :P

Bolstering Bush

The page manifests as many splinters as they’re physically able to meanwhile the rogue outstretches vines from their arms that puncture enemies within 75 feet draining them of life which the rogue funnels into the splinters so as to counteract the quality dropoff that comes with manifesting more splinters. The splinters wield what the page is wielding. This fraymotif lasts 10 minutes after the rogue finishes their portion.

this is 100% the art style of someone who learned to draw people and animals by copying Disney movies and exclusively draws Disney Princesses as Hipsters or assets for Disney Princess Hipster flash dressup games with like 5 dress options for extra cash on weekends off their office job at an insurance company and/or in between freshman CalArts classes (theyre getting a degree in character animation), but unfortunately they never learned how to draw anything BUT Disney characters in the exact style of Disney characters. also Tangled is their favorite disney movie (theyre very excited for the tv series) and they made one of those long tumblr posts justifying the racism in Peter Pan.
