Derby Sunset. When I was up in the Kimberley region home tutoring on a cattle station I didn’t know anyone near my age or anyone with similar interests. I’m so lucky to have met this one. They were generous beyond expectations, extremely fun and chill. It’s so nice to have these memories. I wish i’d taken some shots of our Saturday morning Rage sessions too.
The beautiful cattle out around Meda and Blina Station in the Kimberley region.
Maurice and Ender.
Photos My swell friend took of me at Fairbridge Music festival in Western Australia. It’s nice when you can give your camera to someone and they took some lovely shots for you.
3rd wheeling the Perth Australia day fireworks last night.
Older photo I posted on my art blog before starting a photo blog.
_On the road to Uluru. Friends around fires not even trying to look good but just doing so regardless.
Doubles. I’ve started doing this when I take too many photos of the same thing and don’t know which one to use.
Some photos I posted on my art blog before i started a dedicated photo blog.
From our last hangout. I caught my first ever shiny Pokemon that day. @ourlittlebear
That doesn’t sense make. Photoging with Eloot the other night.
This little guy hung out with us for a bit before moving onto another station where he was looked after. So gentle, kind and inquisitive. And then I remember these grow up to be eaten out here. We killed, quartered and skinned one just last week to store in the cool room. I’m told letting the meat hang for 5-6 weeks makes the meat taste a lot better.
I had my last rodeo for the year on the weekend just gone. These past few weeks have been crammed full! The boy i’m home tutoring told me that I seem different. I realised I hadn’t drawn in over a month! All my spare time was going into rest for the body and mind. Going on walks to think, reflect and hopefully grow. I’ve had tremendous fun. The people you meet out here in the Kimberley are such good value. It’s making it tough to think about leaving next year. But we all come off the bull eventually right?
Catching some cherubin for dinner down the river.
The golden light of dusk. On the road to home.
Bush dogs.
So beautiful in so many different ways out here.
Doggo sleeping. (I want to commandeer that cow skin hide for my room.)
