       belle   .

              still  silent  as  articles  of  clothes  are  peeled  off  of  skin  one  by  one.  the  sound  of  hommes  voice  echoes  in  the  otherwise  silence.  stubborn  enough  to  keep  quiet  and  step  into  the  shower  before  water  is  turned  on.    stepping  into  it  she  feels  like  she’s  finally  able  to  breathe  and  let  any  tension  flee  her  body  —  even  when  she  feels  it  will  make  a  return.  there  was  the  possibility  that  he  was  right  —  some  things  are  better  left  unknown.  still  she  can’t  help  the  feeling  of  irritation  at  kept  secret.  after  moments  are  spent  in  shower  she  steps  out  and  wraps  self  in  towel  heading  toward  closet  to  gather  pajamas  still  not  uttering  a  single  word.  it  was  petty  but  she  felt  she  had  no  other  way  of  portraying  her  feelings.  especially  with  her  boyfriend  just  as  stubborn  as  self  is.

                           lips   part   to   continue   reasoning   ,   but   male   feels   pause   in   own   breath   while   femme   crosses   interior   ,   only   to   continue   ignoring   other’s   presence   .   sigh   follows   ,   digits   splaying   across   throat   to   rub   away   frustration   crawling   up   flesh   .   surely   isn’t   the   first   time   pair   has   encountered   such   stand   off   ,   but   this   time   secrets   kept   from   counterpart   had   come   too   close   to   endangering   well   -   being   ,   and   self   is   determined   to   take   extra   precaution   in   concealing   truth   from   beloved   .   palms   press   into   mattress   as   male   ascends   from   spot   ,   finally   making   way   towards   femme   busying   herself   amongst   clothing   .   silence   remains   heavy   between   pair   ,   tension   just   as   thick   ,   but   male   brings   self   close   from   behind   ,   enough   to   feel   warmth   radiating   off   lover   before   him   .   knows   another   lecture   is   the   last   thing   counterpart   desires   ,   hands   reaching   out   carefully   until   finding   way   around   other’s   waist   .   can   only   hold   onto   femme   ,   testing   waters   before   rest   chin   upon   delicate   shoulder   .
