Recording our debut album has been gone really well this last month.  However, we are now about half way through tracking vocals and our producer is going away for the whole of April, meaning we can't finish the record until May.  

Although we can't wait for people to hear what we've been working on for so long, the last thing we want to do is rush the last bit.  We're still going to be working hard through April on all the details for the release, as hopefully playing a few shows.  The album will be worth the wait.

Our gig with LANDSCAPES in Sheffield is one month away today.  We now have tickets available which you can pick up here at less than face value, and no extra for postage or booking This will be our first gig since last October so come along and make it a good one! Tickets here!

Because of our name change we've reduced all our merch prices to try and have a clear out of our store. The time has come to announce that we will no longer be going under the name ‘Atlas’.  This change has come about for various reasons and in hindsight it is something we wish we had done years ago, but we feel that now is as good a time as any.  

The thing we want to emphasise most is that this is only a new name – nothing else will change.

Now seemed like the best time to go through with this because of some even more important news:  We are booked in at the studio from the end of this week to record our debut full-length album!  This is something that we’re very excited about and is the reason we’ve been so quiet for the last few months; we’ve taken time away from gigging to put as much effort into writing as possible and it has been worth it.  We’re going back to Steel City Studio to record with Drew Lawson who produced the tracks from our split EP last year and we’re really looking forward to working with him again.
