As someone who been on the internet since before the birth of this site, Fandom spaces on internet have always been rancid to some extent. The problem now is visibility the issues of fandom were discussed in the back of chat rooms or in private blogs. If love piece of media start your own space make welcoming and fun don’t stress about the general fandom because no matter how chill you are there will always be uptight weirdos you just need to make space for you and your friends to have fun because fandom is meant to be fun and few loud voice should not stop that

This books ask what happens when the person you are meant to trust the most in the world turns out be the worst kinda monster? That is exactly the predicament our three protagonist find themselves in. Beverly a woman who most would see as your standard housewife who has to keep it together for her kids. Elise quietly almost mousy woman who is an aspiring reporter that is not taken seriously. Finally Margot the ideal trophy wife who wishes to keep her life of luxury. All three so different aside from the fact that they were at some point married to a serial killer and they are the ones who turned them in. Now new case serial killings is taking place they seem to be the only ones who notice.

This book really forces you to deal the fact the second wave Feminism was not just needed it was required for women to move forward. The main characters are often dismissed treated like they know less than they do simply for being women, but at the same time feels like a modern tale of betrayal because in many ways intimate partner violence both physical and emotional are still very common. It leaves you wondering how do you move on from some of the worst betrayal and grief especially when your rights and livelihood are tied to that partner that just has whole other level to the violence.

I highly recommend this book to fans of historical horror. My rating 7/10🗡️

So I’m back I have read few Novels over the last few weeks thought why not kick things off with a splash. This book was amazing it did drag a bit at the end but honestly I love books with a bigger philosophical pull and this book dose that it makes question what is truly living and why do just believe what others tell us without truly questioning it. A thriller told surrealist almost stream of consciousness way I will give it 7/10 🔪, So if you like Mrs Marple and murder she wrote protagonist Elsie will be on the top of your list.

Guess what my life got turned flip upside down, I got strep knocked me out for week kinda feeling better today but I’m still in recovery decided to start my summer reading list week early so I’ll post on that later today when I’m not exhausted

Life update, I dropped the drama I was watching I have 4 episode policy if by episode 4 I’m dreading continuing it then I’m done. Instead I started Perfect Crown it reminds me of Princess Hour and K2 I’ll probably do small overview on Sunday since episode 10 should be out by then. I’m also going to continue the game I have been playing.

So this week Kdrama is “If Wishes Could Kill”

Now this drama is doing numbers in the forums. It is probably the most visually unsettling drama I have watched this year. A disclosure I’m massive Korean Horror fan, it is actually the genre of horror that got me really into horror. So my standards in this category tends to be really high. So while viewed this drama on the less scary side it is the simplicity that makes the psychology of the show so unnerving. Since this is spoiler free overview I won’t go too deep into the psychological aspects since they are so deeply imbedded into the plot, but if you like thinkers when it comes to Kdrama this one is head scratcher for sure.

So would I recommend this yes but with some caveats the pacing is slow to start picks up a little bit but very little. So if like faster paced Kdrama’s this might be skip for you . Also if you are sensitive when it comes to Dramas like the “Glory” skip this one, since similar issues are presented as major part of the plot. Now if you like Silent hill especially the newest adaptation then this is definitely for you.

Last but not least will grade this as An : A

How your week going I slept all day yesterday fell of my schedule and I’m still on episode 4

So I have what you call dynamic chronic illness so my symptoms depend on how the day is going. Today is stay in bed don’t make things worse day so we will be starting “Sell your Haunted House”day early.

I finished “If Wishes Could Kill” last night I’m still forming opinions on it so I’ll post more later.
