I like calling the various items I have collected my hoard because I like the image of being a little dragon that's very excited to own pretty things, but I genuinely don't understand the mentality behind actual hoarding.

I get not having a use for everything you own, but at least display it somewhere. It doesn't even have to be where other people are often going, just somewhere you can look at it and go, "That's so cool. It's so cool that I own that." while just existing in your house.

I own a glass bottle full of a mysterious liquid that doesn't have a label anymore, but I remember when it did have a label it had a warning somewhere along the lines of "Do not shake, explosive". You better believe I have that fucker displayed in my room like a trophy.
