Y'know, I was having a good day today. Things weren't being good, but I was choosing to be happy anyway. I don't think the world liked that.

I bought a fountain pen recently and I really really like the thing. I never knew ink was such an all consuming shade of black before.

I've drawn a couple other things with it already, but this is my favorite and most recent of them.

I really like the thinness of the lines and how they get thinner or thicker depending on how much ink is on the pen or how hard you press. I know there are thin markers out there, (and normal pens, of course) but neither really flow like that. It makes small mistakes easier to hide because I can just thicken the line some and it won't really get questioned.

This is my first time really trying drawing fur all scratchy like this and I really like it. I've always liked how it looked but couldn't really do it with anything but pencil because I could never find a marker thin enough (as well as just generally not liking markers) and normal pens kinda struggle going overtop pencil.

I love how dark the ink is. The picture doesn't show just how dark it is very well, but it's like a void. Much much darker than any normal pen or marker I've ever tried. I love it very much.

Spiders are wonderous creatures that I adore with all my heart and I want one on my hand right now, but they don't like being on hands cause humans feel dirty to them and this is genuinely heartbreaking for me.

Please, little bug, my little arachnid, my world, climb onto my hand so we may have wonderful adventures together. You are everything to me and I need to let you know this.
