some context: shiro and lance went through a rift and met with altean!shance. those two are BIG BOYS! They are happily married and rule altea together (bottom shiro *coughwhat*)! normal au shance havent gotten together yet, and shiro is overly protective of his lance. The lances(2), on the other hand, are enjoying themselves. altean!lance thinks the shy and awkward lance is like his old self so he adores him a lot and gives him advice!

Hi I know babysitter lance is a 10/10 concept but I raise u: teacher lance Shiro drops off his little daughter at school and checks out the hottie with the kids milling around him for a hot sec before realizing SHIT THATS HER TEACHER, shiro getting to school to pick her up early and seeing how sweet lance is with all the kids, shiro gay panicing when he realizes he has to get through a 1 on 1 parent teacher meeting with the hottest guy within a 25 square mile radius. How do they get together tho

OH. MY. GOSH.

LISTEN. I CAN GET BEHIND THIS SHIT!!!! LIKE, SERIOUSLY, I FREAKING LOVE DISASTER GAY SHIRO SO MUCH!!!! HE’S PINING SO DAMN HARD FOR HIS LITTLE DAUGHTER’S TEACHER!!!! IT’S HONESTLY KIND OF HEARTBREAKING!!!! IT’S BEEN SO LONG SINCE HE’S HAD SOMEONE TO LOVE AS A PARTNER AND HE MISSES CONTACT!!! LANCE, PLEASE NOTICE HIM!!!! OH, WAIT, HE’S DEFINITELY NOTICED AND LANCE SERIOUSLY WANTS TO GET TO KNOW SHIRO BETTER!!!!!

SO, CUE SHIRO ENTERING THE ROOM, SEEING THAT IT’S COMPLETELY EMPTY, LEAVING HIM ALONE WITH HIS DAUGHTER, AND LANCE TOGETHER!!!! LANCE TELLS HIM TO TAKE A SEAT AND SHIRO’S TRYING SO HARD TO REMAIN CALM!!!! LANCE IS TRYING TO TAKE ALL OF SHIRO IN AS SUBTLY AS POSSIBLE, BUT HE’S FAILING MISERABLY!!!! BUT SHIRO IS DOING THE SAME!!!! LANCE PROCEEDS TO ASK SHIRO A FEW QUESTIONS ABOUT HIMSELF: HIS JOB, INTERESTS, HOBBIES, MARITAL STATUS!!!!!

SHIRO LAUGHS NERVOUSLY BUT EXPLAINS THAT HE IS, IN FACT, CURRENTLY SINGLE!!!! SHIRO THEN ADDS THAT HE’S “ALSO LOOKING AT THE MOMENT”!!!!! LANCE TAKES THE HINT AND QUICKLY WRITES DOWN HIS PERSONAL NUMBER AND SAYS THAT IT WAS NICE TO FINALLY MEET HIM!!!! THEY EVENTUALLY START GOING ON A FEW DATES THEN OFFICIALLY BECOME BOYFRIENDS, AND IN A FEW YEARS, NEWLYWED HUSBANDS!!!!

This is a long shot since it seems hardly anyone is awake when it's morning for me (plus Tumblr is currently up in flames) but... I have a 6 hour train journey and no headphones.
