Roommates? *Tadashi and Jensen*

Eagerly grabbing one of Tadashi’s old sketchbooks, Jensen resisted the urge to let a chuckle slip past his lips. He flipped through the pages one by one, his brows shooting upwards when he realizes how talented Tadashi is. The drawings at the near end of the sketchbook are far better than the ones at the beginning, obviously showing development in his style and more professionalism; professionalism Jensen is very surprised to find. “These are really, really good.”

“Don’t know yet.” He shrugged, dropping the sketchbook – or as Tadashi liked to refer to it; ‘doodle dump’ – and grabbing another one off a nearby desk. “What about you?”

“Hey thanks, I appreciate it.” Tadashi beamed, putting the finishing touches on Jensen’s picture. It was Jensen posed in a fighting pose, his domino mask had slipped off. His face had a few scratches, and he was dressed in one of Tadashi’s original ideas for a “Bat boy” costume. It was very sketchy and messy, but it was good. At the bottom Tadashi signed “To Jensen :D from the favorite roommate <3″. Tadashi didn’t usually like signing his things with his name, he didn’t care if he got credit for his work- just as long as somebody got the tiniest bit of joy from it.

He tore off the page and handed it to Jensen. “Me? Headed back home probably. Unless some life changing thing happens, well; whatever happens- happens.”

Jensen’s eyes widened when he took a first glimpse at the sketch. It wasn’t detailed – a bit of the opposite, in fact – but he liked it; how Tadashi had so easily captured his most defining features in the drawing. He liked it a lot.

“This is–” He paused, running a finger over the comic-like artpiece, still in complete awe. “It’s amazing. Thanks, Tadashi. T’means a lot.”

Tadashi grinned sheepishly, placing his chin on the inside of his chest avoiding Jensen's eyes. He liked making people happy, but the compliments always made him redden more then he would like. "No problem, take it as an apology for me leaving so suddenly."
