Because Cassie disables her ankle monitor her custody battle is leaning towards Chad's side so her lawyer suggests her getting married and providing a "two parent household" will strengthen her side so now Cassie has to find a fake partner for a fake wedding for the real custody and as she wants all this to be under wraps without the entire hospital knowing she asks none other than the young med student Victoria for help.

It's simple Cassie doesn't want to trust a man again and Victoria won't ask for anything as she already has a million dollar trust fund so it should be simple enough Victoria has already babysat Harrison a few times and her son likes Victoria a lot too!! It's perfect really, just a few signatures, Victoria staying over every few days to prove that they are married, Cassie could drive them together to the hospital, make dinner for all. But why would Victoria help her?? Vic could have anyone she wanted. But she decides to be brave and asks the young med student anyway and is even more baffled when Victoria agrees to her plan!!! Why would she even do that huh???

see i like whitsantos as any regular pitt fan but sometimes i can really tell that they are baby’s first platonic m/f relationship in fandom because why are so many of these headcanons depicting them to be this close and comfortable around each other. it’s almost relationship-y and often very ooc specifically for trinity. (and i’m not talking about fanon joyposting, you do you, i’m talking about people’s genuine headcanons and ideas about what their relationship would be like)

she might be able to joke with him and i’m sure they are learning more about each other because of the proximity, but she clearly struggles with having another person in her house. yes, they watch tv somewhat amicably and they like living together even if they would never say it out loud. but they are both still quite awkward around one another and trinity barely ever tells him an honest feeling unless he literally pries it out of her. and considering trinity has a history of sexual assault and harmful behavior by men, she’s still gonna cautious and attempt distance(even if she’s kinda bad at it).

she likes him, yes, of course she does. but she clearly doesn’t show that unless it accidentally slips out. she doesn’t even call him dennis, why would she ever call him ‘denny’, cuddle him, or be naked around him?

their whole charm is that they are so close but struggle to show it due to their varied personal histories and personalities. and that’s what i like about them! she did him this huge favour after barely knowing him and probably saved him by giving him a house. he’s so kind but not very socialised considering he grew up on a farm with a big family and then was blasted into homelessness. he hates being a bother in any way especially after what trinity did for him. meanwhile trinity is incredibly kindhearted too but very traumatised after the assault and abuse she’s been through. all of this makes their communication stunted and difficult. it’s complicated! the fact that she would probably struggle to even refer to him as her friend(let alone best friend, which he probably is), is what makes it all so fun and interesting. you’re taking away their juice by making them so comfortable and normal around each other

What it is like to be put under anesthesia

(in my experience, bc this was the first thing i wrote after waking up from surgery a couple hours ago)

since you can’t eat beforehand, I went in pretty grumpy-hungry but believe me, nervousness takes care of that QUICK and i completely forgot

if you have good staff, they notice when you‘re nervous & chat calmly without overwhelming you

anesthesiologists and other staff members repeatedly ask what surgery you are getting done to make sure you were properly informed and to avoid mixups; made me nervous (bc why did no one know what surgery they were doing with me??) until my anesthesiologist explained that they just have to hear me say the words

during prep, different people will be doing different things and giving instructions on what to do (make a fist, put your arm there, etc.), sometimes overlapping (adhd hell)

the face mask was placed over my mouth and nose with just normal breathing air for like 3 minutes while they were still prepping (i assume to get me used to the sensation?)

once the drugs started coming, my very very first instinct was „oh, i‘m gonna throw up“

i didn‘t throw up but then everything went hazy and blurred, kinda like being REALLY tired-drunk

one of the anesthesiologists was standing behind me and caressing my face while talking to me and promising to take care of me when she noticed i was getting freaked out; the other one was administering the drugs

no need to count or having to talk until passed out, they just told me to close my eyes and that was it

Dr. Robby’s first name is Michael, not Micheal.

His Jewish parents would have gone with the original Hebrew version of the name. In Hebrew, it’s pronounced with three syllables (miˈχaːel, i.e, mee-chah-el) which is why the standard English spelling preserves the original vowel order even if English drops the glottal stop before the last syllable.

So if you’re writing a Jewish character like Dr. Robby, it’s Michael, not Micheal.
