There will be days you will be so disappointed with yourself. You will feel like you are going downhill in everything. You will feel you are defeated.

At this time, remember. Its not over till last breath. The fight is still on till last breath. So giving up is not the solution. Islam tells us that you don’t even give up even if your book of deeds is presented in your left hands on the big day. Because who knows you may qualify for shifaat of Rasul Allah sallalaho alayhi wassalam. So do not give up doing good, just because you feel you failed in something big. You don’t know which Amal becomes a reason for your salvation.

Shaykh ul-Islam ibn Taymiyyah [may Allah have mercy on him] said:

“The people of certainty (yaqeen) when they are tested; they remain firm. Unlike others, whom when tested may permit it (the test) to follow the resignation of his faith or (to allow) it to diminish.’’

“Rabbi inni lima anzalta ilayya min khairin faqir” Recite this everyday, at every opportunity you can get. It’s a very powerful Dua. Recite it with the belief that Allah can make the impossible, possible because He can. He is the only one that can change your situation and provide you with everything you need in this life and hereafter. Pray it with your whole heart and trust in Him.

Rizq: The most beautiful form of rizq is not money, rather it is, Tranquility of a soul, Healthiness of a body, Purity of a heart, Soundness of a thought, Dua from a mother, Kindness of a father, Presence of a brother, Laughter of a son, Caring of a friend, Dua from someone who loves you for the sake of Allah. May Allah swt grant you all these forms of rizq. Ameen

Two years on and the pain is still so deep. The feeling of helplessness is overwhelming. The days ahead are crucial. Almighty. We seek Your help and guidance. Protect Palestine and its people. Grant them victory and the return of their land. Ameen.

Your heart is an amanah. You are responsible for protecting it from unworthy attachments and distractions. Being with someone who has already shown you a lack of maturity, responsibility, care for you and your heart is not strength, it’s self-harm.

Luqman was asked how he achieved wisdom?, he said;

Those little acts of goodness that you do silently, they are not so little in the eyes of your Creator. Keep doing them consistently and remember, that consistency is the key.
