Ae'nawm is the new spiritual leader of the Anurai clan.
She wears a feather headdress reminiscent of the thanator's long-stemmed plates as a tribute to the sacred animal.
In her native clan na'vi hair is genetically lighter at the roots than at the ends. Many of them cut the dark ends to preserve an aura of "light and purity". But Ae'nawm took a different path and decided to grow it naturally finding beauty in embracing her nature. 🍃
She says hair contains memory. Cutting off the ends means renouncing terrible and dark times in history. Life is multifaceted: grief and pain forge a people and an individual revealing the true strength of spirit capable of rising from the ashes.
The whites of Ae'nawm's eyes are darker than those of other na'vi. Legend has it that her kind traded the clarity of their eyes for foresight. Furthermore, such eyes make it difficult to tell where the Na'vi are looking making it difficult to predict their next move. 👁
The stripes on Ae'nawm's neck converge into a shape resembling an eye which is why her clan immediately knew she was marked by Eywa. 🌳
