A month or so ago I was shopping with a good friend and spied a faux-fur vest I loved. I went over to try it on and she stopped me, she said “Don’t buy something that will go out of style, but timeless pieces you can wear even after a trend is over.”

What the hell. No.

My advice: buy whatever you love and feel confident in. Your clothing shouldn’t be a prison, or confinement of your personality, but an expression of who you are or who you want to be. Fashion is fun, and vibrant (even if your wardrobe is like mine and contains a lot of black). Dress for you 💜
