A few years ago I was working at my elementary school's annual spring fling. It was nearing noon and my shift was soon to be over when a girl my age, 17, stole the bear head right from my own head and ran away with it. I wasn't gonna pay for a damn bear head if she didn't return it, so I ran after her and followed her into an empty classroom with the lights off and the shudders shut tightly. She said something like 'oh looky here, Mr. Papa Bear, I'm holding your head, I'm a bad girl.' I was pissed she took it and wasn't thinking, so I, being oblivious, took the head and yelled, 'THE CHILDREN NEED ME' and stormed out. GODDAMNIT I COULDA GOT LAID.

Still can’t get over the fact how hard this film had hit me…. Probably not your highest earning box office but it was more than just a sci-fi flick. Loving the connection of Andrea and Tom at the start and how jealousy torn everything apart when Jack ( Tom ) found and saved his wife from being killed. And of course the most defining moment in it was when Malcolm ( Morgan Freeman ) lit his cigar in the dark and started to reveal and spill the tet’s secret and asked Jack to search for the truth. ’ search for the truth because that’s where you’ll find it ’ God how I love his voice! Overall it was a good movie though sometimes the script gets a little too thin. Best sci-fi movie of the year? You’re probably right.
