There was a shooting at my school on Friday and we were on lockdown for 5+ hours. I’m glad it was an isolated incident and no one else was hurt, but it was really nerve wracking to be a sitting duck in the classroom. I can’t even begin to imagine how the students and staff at the other school shootings must have felt.
