...
though all that comes to an abrupt halt, however, lady green is quick to lock her thighs tight around his head, muffling all reason at the sound of seohwanās notably agitated voice seeping through thin walls.Ā is he in there with someone?Ā
cut to theĀ blooper reel of one or two times eunrinĀ hadĀ run into him with someone attached to his side. which, if you think about itāwas embarrassing enough between the two of them, especially considering he was rejected.Ā
and yet, somehow, this time, this time,Ā instead of following the gut feeling to get the hell out of dodge, our poor pathetic simp forms a tight fist and knocks against the door.
so what if itās embarrassing? itās not the first time. hasnāt he been trailing after shin seohwan like a dog on the street this whole time?ā
āthe sunās already halfway up, for godās sake.ā
heavy-lidded eyes try their best to blink away the drowsiness, the only better news here is that itās been years too longĀ to terrorize seohwan with some slapdash immobility mid-slumber. he focuses on the dull tingle by his fingertips until he can fully swat away at the poltergeist whoās been using him as a body-cushion, finally slipping out of his bed to grab a shirt hanging by the chair.
the first point at issue here is that his name is built with the characters āmidnightā seo (ę) and ācall (out)ā hwan (å), as if his parents intended for the nights in his life to be rowdy with spirits from dusk until dawn. the second point at issue is that his sloppily composed talisman by the door has only done half its part (he was out on his feet last night, to be fair,) which brings us to the third point at issue: the half-closed window by his headboard that he has simply forgotten to close last evening.
āoh, hey.ā
two steps out the door, he tries his best not to let his morning-throat croak out that greeting with a crack in it, pinching the middle of his neck after being caught amidst his ghost-talking (self-talking? if any of those isĀ remotely better). the last point at issue here: it is practically impossible to date when youāre accompanied by your spooky little friends day-and-night. the boy standing in front of him have always been more than charming, even after things have been up in the air since last yearāand never really completely down since.
āgot off the wrong floor?ā he jeers casually, trying to drown out the wailing voice behind the door. smiling usually helps with these state of affairs, so he does.Ā āiām off to class, what about you?ā
