YOU KNOW LEGENDS NEVER DIE
( featuring muses from pretty in pink, the breakfast club, back to the future, daria, kim possible, ghostbusters, one tree hill, and star wars. )
Kylo Ren turns to see Luke’s lightsaber land in the hand of Rey, who stands, facing him, having reached for it herself, but utterly stunned that it landed in her hand! She is shocked – and so is Kylo Ren! Holding it with both hands, she ignites Luke’s lightsaber for the first time, HER EYES BLAZING.
Q: Of all the things that happened to you, John; you won a BAFTA and Daisy; you were a presenter at the Oscars how did [meeting the Royal Princes] compare?
Luke Skywalker? I thought he was a myth.
Star Wars Inspired Sentence Starters:
(Some are original quotes, some have been slightly modified. Feel free to modify them when sending.)
Be careful when you look at the dark side, for the dark side looks back.
Train yourself to let go of everything you fear to lose
Your eyes can deceive you; don’t trust them.
Do – or do not. There is no try.
I find your lack of faith disturbing.
He’s holding a thermal detonator!
Don’t get cocky.
You can’t win.
It’s a trap!
Aren’t you a little short for a Stormtrooper?
Why you stuck-up, half-witted, scruffy-looking nerf-herder!
You’re going down a path I cannot follow.
You were the chosen one!
It was said that you would destroy the Sith, not join them.
At last we will have revenge.
Kill him. Kill him now.
I’ve just about had enough of you.
You’re my only hope.
You’re braver than I thought.
The force is strong with this one.
Great shot, that was one in a million.
The Force will be with you, always.
There is good in him. I’ve felt it.
I am here to put you back on your schedule.
Death is a natural part of life.
Rejoice for those around you who transform into the Force.
The Dark Side of the Force is the pathway to many abilities some consider to be… unnatural.
If there’s a bright center to the universe, you’re on the planet that it’s farthest from.
Once you start down the dark path, forever will it dominate your destiny.
things I plan on expanding soon but are pertinent to any modern-based (predominately high school) aus seen on this blog:
– Rey’s a foster kid who’s been in the system for as long as she can remember – she’s only been fostered by one family, from the time she was eight until present (16) – said family runs an illegal car boosting operation and uses the kids as part of it; Rey salvages car parts from junk yards and, on rare occasion, cars that are in use – she’s considered running away before, but knowing she has nowhere to go and no set means of taking care of herself, she hasn’t followed through. really, she doesn’t want to end back in the system, especially when she’ll be able to roam free in a few years – she doesn’t give much insight into her home life for the obvious reasons; while she isn’t physically abused, or necessarily emotionally abused, she is neglected. it’s not uncommon to get one small meal a day, and if she’s not causing trouble, she’s ignored.
“It’s CLASSIFIED.”
As lovely a respite as Saturday detention may be from ‘home’ for the otherwise invisible girl at the back of the library, questions made her uncomfortable. Questions about why she was there, personal questions – ones that everyone else seemed to have no qualms sharing – anything beyond admission of her name made Rey feeling at unease. And so, when Andrew Clark (of all people) asked for a reason why she was in detention, the guard went up.
“I won’t ask you – don’t ask me.”

Fingers tighten around the strap of her duffle bag, stocked with few personal belongings she’s accumulated over the years as she follows the redhead in front of her down the long hallway. The silence is comforting; something she hasn’t felt fully in quite some time, though her stomach knots in anticipation the longer they continue their walk. At long last, she’s ushered into one of the rooms, taking in the large windows and soft blue paint. As her eyes sweep over the furniture, she inhales deeply.
“We get to stay here?”
She speaks softly, stepping forward slowly as she continues to take in the space around her.
“I’ve never had a room like this before.”

Finn: Where's your family from?
Rey: Unimportant. There's a million things I haven't done.
suh dude
amazing, don’t you think?
I’ve been stuck in a car for the last 40 minutes and we’re almost at my uncle’s bday party so like this for a thing later tonight/tomorrow when I’m back home
