Hi. I started a stick and poke tattoo 9 years ago but stopped when I got pregnant. I want to finish it now but have two bottles of ink and don't know which to use. I have (both Windsor and Newton) black indian ink (waterproof ) and the liquid indian ink ( traditional Chinese stick ink). Any idea which one to use? Thanks

Honestly if you can get some tattoo ink that would be best. There are lots available online. Also please remember to only use ink that has never touched anything else. If anything has been dipped into the ink bottle you have they are not safe to be in your skin. Alway pour a little out into another sterile container for while you tattoo and dispose of after.

If your ink is has not had contact with any foreign objects then read the ingredients and do some research about the safety of them to help you chose.

What colored inks that are not "tattoo" inks are safe to use?

There are no safe color alternatives to tattoo ink.
