I also heavily relate to ken in the way that his trauma forced him to grow up quicker than he should have and the way that nobody around him believed what really happened (his scene in the answer makes me cry) but I can't go around saying ken is my favourite persona 3 character with a femc profile picture or people will blindly call me a pedophile because they can't process that I could just like a character because I relate to them also all that p3r has done to ken is just make the subtext with him planning his own death and not wanting people to worry about him when he's gone like shinji very very clear in the text, sometimes I genuinely do think that a lot of persona fans just struggle with reading comprehension, like people blaming ken for shinji's death when takaya literally makes it clear in the scene where he dies that he will die anyway but no it's the traumatised child's fault and not the guy who literally shot him or the drugs that are killing him from the inside out
