Hanna sat in the back of the car feeling scared on how her father was going to take the news of her being pregnant. She’d always been the maternal type. Now her life was changing so fast. She smiled as joseph asked her father for his permission to marry her.

He says, “I can take care of Hanna and any future family.” ”This is not some idea because of a spur of the moment feeling Sir.” ”I love your daughter, she loves me and we want to spend the rest of our lives together.” He glances back at Hanna for a moment, then says, “We just thought it would be best to get your blessing first.” He thinks, “Well, most of it is out on the table, now to wait to see what happens.”

Jeffrey looked up in the mirror in front of him, looking back at his daughter, seeing the smile on her face. "Is this right Hanna? you love this guy?" Hanna smiled, nodding. "I do. He loves me and I'm happy," "then," Jeffrey said "Then I guess you have my blessing. Just don't mess her about. I know how to get rid of a body," he added, with a sly smirk on his face.

H shook his head “No, haven’t been to any hospital recently… but uh… you could call me a bounty hunter”

"Bounty Hunter? Like those guys off the television?" Hanna asked, feeling a little calmer. The pain in her head almost gone.

H gave her a crooked smile “Yeah…. Kinda like the guys on TV….”

Hanna ran her fingers through her hair, feeling a little more like herself. Still not knowing what the hell had happened when she had touched this stranger. No one had affected her like this before. “Does it pay well?” she asked innocently.

H shrugged “It pays enough to pay my dues…”

Hanna looked at him. He didn't look like the kind of guy to have a nine to five job.

Hanna looked up, surprised by the offer. "I... I'd like that," she smiled back at her.

Hanna smiled as they got nearer the car, watching as her father piled all their luggage in the boot of his car. It was going to be an amazing sight, driving back into the city. Back to her home. Her father owing a large building due to his late fathers property development. Joseph opened the car door for her and she took a seat in the back whilst he sat in the front next to her father.

After he has gotten into the front seat and buckled up he says, “So Sir, what plans do you have now that you are retiring?” Out of the corner of his eye he catches a glimpse of a man in desert camo standing by the curb getting rushed by a woman and kids. Joseph thinks, “Must have just gotten back.”

Hansel gave her a crooked smile “No worries, just not used to people sneakin’ up on me…. and yeah, the scenery is real nice.” Sticking out his hand for a shake, Hansel spoke again “Hansel, friends call me H.”

Hanna smiled as she shook his hand. “Hanna, no ones ever called me H,” she said, her smile widening. “Are you some kind of ninja then?” Knowing her question sounded crazy but meant as a joke.

H ruffed out a laugh “You can say that, yeah”

Hanna’s face dropped. “You aren’t really a ninja are you?” She asked, looking around. Looking at him more closely all dressed in leather and his hair kind of all spikey and quaffed on one side. There was something oddly familiar about him.

H shook his head “Nah… Just a regular guy…”

"Then I’m pleased to meet you Hansel," she reached out her hand, touching his briefing. Then she felt a pounding in her head and took a step back. She felt dizzy.

H blinked and took a step forward “Hey… You okay kid?”

Hanna grabbed hold of his arm, to steady herself and shook her head. “I don’t know.. I felt a bit dizzy for a moment. God my head hurts,” Hanna said.

H frowned and wrapped his free arm around her waist “Here, come on, let’s sit down… Maybe that will make you feel better”

Hansel guided her to a nearby row of seats and overlooked the city! Hanna sat down, still feeling a little lightheaded. “I’m sorry, I don’t know what came over me,” she ran her fingers through her hair, gripping her head. Looking up at him, sure that she had seen him before. “Have we met before? There’s something so familiar about you!”

H frowned “Uh.. No. Never met before… Unless I forgot about it, which I kinda highly doubt”

'Then why are you so familiar. Have you been in hospital recently?" She asked, her head beginning to feeling better. "Or maybe somewhere else. What is it you do? If you don't mind me asking?"
