Commit This to Memory ll Crystal and Hannah
Crystal was heading back from the lake after laying out in the sun for a bit. Everything to her was just so boring. People were boring, school was boring, and she was almost kicking herself for not taking harder classes until she realized that even those would end up being boring. All people did was complain about how horrible their lives were. Then again, not all people were born and raised in a pure-blood wizarding family like she was. Slowly finding her way back to the castle, she took her time as she walked the lowly halls. She wished she could have stayed at Beauxbatons like her sister had, but her the decision to move to England after her brothers death was out of her hands. She let out a soft sigh, giving a seventh year boy a shy, cute smile before posting herself in a small alcove in one of the hallways near the entrance to the school. Crystal lazily put her bag down on the ground as she leaned her head against the cold, stone wall, contemplating things she could be doing to keep herself occupied. It wasn’t until she heard a small squeal and the sound of her bag being scooted across the floor. Crystal slowly looked at the blonde who had tripped over her bag and put on a small fake smile. “Are you alright?" she asked.
Returning to Hogwarts had been harder than Hannah had ever dreamed it would be. Justin didn't remember her at all and Jen had no memories of their friendship what so ever. It felt like all the most important people in her life had been ripped away yet again. George was gone, off to some place that he wouldn't tell her, and then of course there would never be a Max or a Joey. Hannah felt more alone than ever. Even when she had been away she had felt less lonely than this. At least staying in Scotland she had her grandparents, but now being back at Hogwarts it was like coming back to a ghost town where everyone was scared and depressed and searching for something they couldn't find. But Hannah was trying to look past it all and use what she had learned over the months of solitude to keep her head on straight and her mind in the right place. Justin hadn't a clue who she was, but maybe she could build back the friendship they had had before everything had gone to shit. Jen didn't remember their friendship, but Hannah was determined to get it back. As the thoughts flowed through her mind and burred her vision, she found herself tripping over her own shoes and stumbling across the floor. Her hair was masking her vision and her long limbs felt like they were pretzelled together. She heard a voice and pushed the hair out of her face, snuffing it out of her nose and spitting it out of her mouth. "Yeah, uh, I'm fine." she said, brushing herself off and pulling herself back to her feet. "The whole world's in shambles and I can't even walk straight." she said, rolling her eyes at herself with that Hannah smirk on her face. "I think that says quite a lot about myself." she shrugged with a little laugh.
