Working on my planner for the week, as I do every Monday. It’s messy and my handwriting isn’t perfect but that’s what makes it mine.

hi, why did you choose a hobonichi when there are tons of cheaper options??
Hi friend!
I am the sort of person who cuts costs and saves money everywhere that I can. So for the past 10+ years, I have used nothing but dollar store planners, or planners that were on clearance. While nothing was wrong with that, I did a ton of research in the planner universe and wanted to get a hobonichi for its features and this year, I decided to cut costs elsewhere so I could afford a more expensive planner. Nothing is wrong with the cheaper options! I just wanted to treat myself this year to a planner I have always wanted.
A year of journals. Usually there wouldn’t be so many of them, but two big trips meant two big travel journals.
Not to sound dramatic, but there is this balance of feelings that comes with a system change: (1) crippling failure (2) happiness and joy at making a house a home.
And so it begins ☘️
I made a trip out to Paper Source and got a new journal to pair with my hobonichi. I am starting a commonplace book and I’m so excited!
