Week 4 + last 3 days of Inktober!! I did it!! I’m done!! I honestly never imagined I’d make it, I'm so happy and kinda proud rn! C:

Side note: Today I woke up at 08.05 (I managed to turn off the sound on my alarm yesterday) but still somehow made it in time for my 08.15 lecture. crazy.

Week 2 of Inktober! Never thought I’d get this far, and right now it feels pretty tough to continue. I have so many exams and similar stuff coming up and I have no idea how I'll have time for everything.

But like always; it'll work out somehow!

Ah, Felurian: the most beautiful and insatiable woman in the known worlds. Let me tell you; trying to draw her is quite a daunting task, but I just had to go and try anyway...

I know that she’s not exactly described this way in the book, but it’s just the image that popped up in my head (although she turned out looking a bit younger than I wanted...), I hope you’ll like it anyway!

A slow class today resulted in me doodling Felurian... Oh man how I've missed drawing T^T I really hope I can finish this digitally (or at least make a more proper traditional drawing) sometime soon, because I wanna make more KKC fan art ☆

Pumpkin, Pumpkin, Pumpkin Halloween Magic!!! (instant love to anyone who got that reference) My final exam period is over, and it's that time of the year when most people are obsessed with pumpkins and witches... so why not draw some? I also experimented a bit with colouring techniques on this one: this was the first time I tried choosing dark base colours and drawing in the light (before I've chosen some middle colour and painted in both shadows and highlights) Somehow, I think it looks more organic/natural!

Aiming for that cozy autumn feel~

Although I’m really really happy to finally have drawn this picture (I’ve been wanting to draw a mermaid in a teacup for like ~3 years (that last pic is from when I tried to draw it 2 years ago but then stopped b/c it turned out so bad) I’m not too happy with how it turned out (maybe because I’ve never drawn a teacup or any type of glass this way before so since it’s the was the first time of course I'm bad at it but let’s not think logical like that eyy. let’s expect ourself to do things perfectly at first try and then get very disappointed!!!)... 

But I’ll just quote Jake Parker and say “finished not perfect” UvU (if you’re into art and haven’t watched the video yet, go do it! )

Went to an art circle today and the theme was Autumn, so I painted this (b/c theres nothing more autumn then hot tea and fallen leaves right??) ♧ I'm actually really happy with how it turned out, since I've almost never used water colours before ☆

Oh! I’d love if you could do that!! I actually heard about that project a while ago by a fellow Dawngate-fan friend but I kinda believed he was just messing around with me (since he always does that and) since it sounded too good to be true... But I’m really glad to hear it’s actually happening!

So... I had this nostalgia attack a few days ago and since art is my #1 coping method I decided to draw it out! These characters are Tess (human) and Mina (key) from the now long-dead game 'Dawngate' (thus the nostalgia) A friend and I used to play these two as a combo and always joke about how easy it was to carry with them because 1. They were a really good combo and 2. Tess literally carried Mina all the time when Mina was in her key form (= carrying made easy)...  Ahh, good ol' times   I remember I talked about drawing Mina and Tess a few times but I never got around to it while the game still existed, now I guess nobody really cares about it anymore but most my art is just me being self-indulgent anyway so what the heck!

Feels really good to finally have drawn this! I’ve been thinking about it on and off since I became a beta tester of the game like over 3 years ago and now I finally did it! Whey!

Drew this for a Swedish manga studio’s ( @nosebleedstudio ) art contest, the theme was “travelling in Swedish history” and I chose to draw someone sailing because that’s the most Swedish way of travelling imo, as it is something we always have done and still do (we do have one of the world’s biggest (and I dare say most beautiful) archipelagoes after all)

the picture itself is really really rushed, I had less than half a day to finish it, as I discovered the competition the day of the deadline... I don’t really expect to win, especially since I couldn’t even do my best, but it was really fun to draw this, and that’s all that matters!
