Hogwarts Legacy takes place in 1890-1891 give or take a few years
Dumbledore was born in 1881 and many assume he was born in August and assuming schooling at Hogwarts also takes place in September, by the start of Hogwarts Legacy, Dumbledore would've been about 11 years old

We could've met a young Albus Dumbledore starting his first year at hogwarts during the gameplay
I probably got a lot of math wrong but the thought is funny to me
I'm pretty sure Albus started school 1892 and the game is set 1890?
and it is such a shame. Huge shame. Because even if it was just a cheeky little mission, a 'help the student' thing if you happen to be a Griffindor - interacting with a little Albus Dumbledore would have been the cutest thing in the world!!!
And he had the shit bullied out of him in his first year. :^( But was very clever and concentrated on his studies and his magic. There's lots of ways a little side-quest could go with that.
