SmuggleCraft
Hey guys! Awhile ago I gave a sneak peek at our game SmuggleCraft. I couldn’t talk a whole lot about it before, but now that we have officially announced with Sony I can! SmuggleCraft is a quest-based hovercraft racing game coming out on Ps4 (We are Sony exclusive), and Steam (PC, Mac, and Linux) in Spring 2016! We are working on our Greenlight currently, if you like our game, throw us a “Yes!” on Steam! We would greatly appreciate it! The game features procedural tracks influenced by quests, AI Hovercraft Racers (Including Police, Bounty Hunters, and other Smugglers), MultiPlayer racing, and modular ship parts acquired through crafting.
We have been making mobile games for the last 4 years, and we wanted to do something bigger, but it never seemed like the right time. We originally planned on keeping SmuggleCraft pretty small, but as we showed local industry peers, we were getting good feedback, and SmuggleCraft was turning out to be really fun! We were excited, and our ideas for the game grew. We realized that we couldn’t do everything that we wanted to do in the original timeframe we gave ourselves, so after serious consideration, we decided to take the plunge and dedicate the time to make our studio’s first large scale game. We wanted to do something different with SmuggleCraft, no repetitive circular tracks, where you heavily rely on memorization. We hoped to make a racing game that you have never played before. With creative tracks, fun quests, and an intriguing story through a branching narrative. Keep an eye on our tumblr for more news, gifs, and screenshots of our upcoming title SmuggleCraft! Also shoutout to all of the awesome people we met at Anime STL 2015! Thanks for hanging out with us and playing our demo!
Valve enters Twitch’s streaming domain with Steam Broadcasting
Valve’s juggernaut digital PC gaming platform Steam today added a major new feature: broadcasting. Steam Broadcasting allows Steam users to watch their friends’ games with just one press of a button.
In a statement, Valve said Steam Broadcasting was designed for “ease of use.” And indeed, it is simple. All you’ll need to do is click “Watch Game” on your friend’s profile to see their gameplay.
Valve points out that there are no strings attached—you don’t have to also own the game, pay a fee, or install any additional apps. To try out Steam Broadcasting today, all you need to do is opt in to the Steam Client Beta, which you can do through the Steam Settings panel.
Find out more about the beta here.
This is awesome!

Hero Chomp!
Hey dudes! Inspired by our friends bscotch, we speed developed a game called Hero Chomp! It turns classic arcade upside down, where you play the bad guy, and you have to stop the hero(es)! It has a simple one button mechanic, where you stop the Evil King Frog so he can chomp the heroes and avoid the bombs! It is available on Android now, and will be out on iOS soon!
#strangevideogame
Hey dudes! We have an announcement about a game we are working on! We are making a game for a local (super awesome) donut shop named Strange Donuts! (tumblr | facebook)
No doubt if you are in the St. Louis area you have heard of them. We don't have much to show just yet, but I can show some character sketches and a screenshot! The game will be an endless runner where you are being chased by comical enemies and you use donuts to fend them off! However, they are not your only problem! Maplewood is also having some pretty inconvenient street issues, with all of these alligators and open manholes everywhere, you better watch out! Collect coins and donut power ups to increase your score! The donuts are being based off of actual donuts that can be purchased at the store, and each one will have its own special ability. Try them all and pick a favorite! Then, go to the shop, and find that donut to see how awesome it tastes! The best of both worlds! Expected launch will be March 1st! The strange game will be available on iOS and Android!
I will keep you posted with more screenshots and news! Thanks guys!

The FLIP!
Hey dudes! We published a new mobile game recently! and best of all, IT IS FREEEEEE. This wonderful game is called The Flip! It is a fast paced memory game, where you have to tap the cubes that DIDN'T move. Sounds easy, right? NOPE! It starts out pretty easy. Then, as you continue playing, you can unlock more difficulty levels, where the cubes move faster, and there are more to memorize. There is a timed, and an endless mode. Ben worked super hard on it, so you should check it out! Download it here: iTunes Android Credits: Our very own Ben Triola, for the game development, and Dana Huth for the design! Here are some screen shots!

Pixel Press Kickstarter!
Hey cool dudes! We at Happy Badger Studio have another cool project to share with you guys! Our friend Robin Rath has an awesome project on Kickstarter that is about to end in 9 days! Currently he is at $85,552 / $100,000, with a total of 1,774 backers! Whoa!
His project is pretty cool, I'll fill you in, and if you like it, you can find more information here.
Pixel Press is a project where you can create your own level, and then take a picture, and play it on your mobile device! It uses specially designed graph paper, with a special key notation for creating interactive objects in your levels. (Moving platforms, hazards, etc).
After you create the level, and test it, you can design it with a library of images, sounds, and other items anyway you want, and then upload it for the rest of the world to play! (You can also tinker with the physics and adjust the player movement speed!).
If you don't draw, you can always play other user's levels! If this is your kinda thing, go check it out! Once again, kickstarter. and here is their website! (It is really pretty, you should gaze at its glory).
We got our OUYA!!
Hey guys! I'm not sure if a lot of you were following along with the kickstarter for OUYA, but we certainly did! OUYA is an awesome console (and cheap) that will let you play supporting android titles on your TV at home! The OUYA only runs $99 and so far we love it. Here is the website. Here was thier kickstarter.
Progress!
Making some progress on Something Fragile! :) We also have quite a few other games in the pipe! I'll let you guys know more about those soon. :D Maybe some Something Fragile teasers too.
