United States Soccer Re-Branding
I've been a long time soccer fan having grown up playing the game as a little guy. And, as such, I'm a huge US Soccer supporter. But I think most fans can agree, US Soccer has an identity crisis. We don't get consistency in the jerseys. Our crest looks like a clipart leftover from 1993. It could use some work.
There's been a fair amount of effort put out there by fans to re-brand the US Soccer Federation. And while some of them aren't bad, I honestly feel they have been over-designed. Here's a look at some of those:

To be fair, Nike has been doing the same thing at times. Why on earth do you bring back the hoops but insist on putting a ghost sash on there?! It's tough to see as a fan.
For me, I think we need to simplify and go back to the basics. I've tried to simplify and set an identity for the US to follow. I'm splitting this up into three parts. Part I, a crest redesign. Part II, the jersey design. Finally, Part III, the marketing.
The basis behind my entire design was simple. Soccer History. We have a surprisingly rich soccer tradition in America. We need to get back to that. Hopefully Nike see's this. If you do, Nike, I promise I'm cheap! I just want to see a great US kit!
