[21:00] just another summer night, toasting marshmallows in your fire-pit with hyeongjun. when you get up to grab graham crackers and chocolate he threatens to stick your marshmallow into the flames until it burns completely, so you threaten to stick a marshmallow through his fluffy hair in retaliation.

“you wouldn’t actually do that would you?” he asks later, fingering through your hair, as you watch the (now daily) fireworks together.

you stop tracing random designs on his hands. “you know i wouldn’t.”

[15:39] you fall in love with joshua over the smallest of things. when he accidentally burns the grilled cheese he’s making, you collapse into giggles and eat it anyway. when you kiss him while stealing his ice cream, he lets you and then smears some across your cheeks. 

“i could look at you all day,” he whispers, “you’re so wonderful.”

“even with ice cream on my face?” you whisper back.

“especially with ice cream on your face,” he laughs.

[20:56] you get dragged out of the house by neighbor! jungmo to go on a walk together. you reach the neighborhood playground and decide to swing together because no one else is there. the sun sets in the background as your legs pump like crazy because you’re trying to feel like flying and you’re smiling and he’s laughing and you’ve missed being so carefree. it’s a good night and as you two stumble back down to your houses you pinky promise that you’ll never take each other for granted again.
