Islam doesn’t ban you from getting involved in the Dunya. Islam warns you not to get concerned about it. Islam doesn’t want you to get distracted by it. Take as much as you need or as much as you wish even, because luxury is not forbidden in Islam, on condition that it doesn’t distract you from Allah (swt), on condition that it doesn’t become an obstacle in front of you to take you away from Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala.

Narrated Anas: Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) said, “Help your brother whether he is an oppressor or an oppressed,” A man said, “O Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ)! I will help him if he is oppressed, but if he is an oppressor, how shall I help him?” The Prophet (ﷺ) said, “By preventing him from oppressing (others), for that is how to help him.” Sahih al-Bukhari 6952 In-book reference : Book 89, Hadith 13 USC-MSA web (English) reference : Vol. 9, Book 85, Hadith 84
