"Is he a good monk?"
"Well... I think he's trying to do his very best..."

Healthcare in this country is so chronically under capacity. There simply aren’t enough resources for the number of people needing care. Universal healthcare is good, and the clinical care here is mostly competent with good outcomes, but access is increasingly determined by whether you can afford to go private. Everyone else just has to wait until they're severe enough to receive good treatment.
Got seen by the doctor a lil quicker bc triage said my heart rate was high and my lungs had crackles. But by the time I got seen, both had settled. So they just told me not to catch my flight tonight and sent me home with no medicine. I was meant to fly over for a wedding where I was one of only 6 guests, but there’s just no way I can make it while I'm this sick. At least I still have the inhaler from the last time I had bronchitis!
Got bronchitis or pneumonia or something weird, paid a hundred bucks to wait for 5 hours in an emergency clinic to see a doctor (would been better off going to the hospital with these wait times), I slept only 3 hours last night because I kept being woken up by this strange foamy mucus blocking my airway… the nail polish matches the shoes tho
Ideal work schedule:
I show up and am given a list of cognitively engaging but achievable tasks
I complete the list
I leave immedietly
I can’t believe I’d let my insecurity get in the way of myself so much. I won’t let myself be loved by anyone else around me until I am able to love myself, and this insecurity won’t let me love myself
Got my toner done yesterday and it came out darker than expected, now I kinda want to go back to my natural colour.
I’d been doing highlights, and it’s just so expensive. I infamously put two whole bottles of John Frieda Go Blonder spray through my hair, resulting in a warm, uneven grow-out. At my next hair appointment, I neglected to mention this to my hairstylist and predictably my ends broke off after the bleach. But the stylist wasn’t phased, apparently it didn’t matter as I wanted a haircut anyway… I can’t be upset, it’s my own fault for using that spray!
But man. Brown hair. My natural, normal brown hair is the colour for me after all. Unfortunately, until the highlights grow out, I’m stuck getting the occasional toner.
I have too many problems with my own self image and eating for everyone to be getting so goddamn skinny at the moment! Stop!!

I’ve been taking gabapentin for my endometriosis and it’s really messing me up making me sleepy all the time. A nap right now would go hard but I’ve got a job to do.

It's snowing all over the country at the moment; in places it hasn't snowed since I was so so young. I'm seething with jealousy because it's all going to melt before I can even get to the mountains!
I’ve been trying to brute force happiness into my life instead of just setting up systems where happiness emerges as some kind of pleiotropic side effect
Wild to go to the other side of the planet and find all the things I’ve seen on google street view really do exist after all. My film rolls from the trip came back from the lab and I am so happy
