Marilyn Monroe photographed in Amagansett, NY, by Sam Shaw in 1957. The Millers rented a summer home in Long Island for the spring and summer months where they enjoyed a quiet life together. Sam Shaw was hired to shoot them for a spread in Look Magazine, published in October later that year. Marilyn insisted no photographs be taken inside of her house but said, “I’ll do anything outside!”
