Being a black animator in fandom and also having an interest in animation/ character design makes you start noticing repeating patterns that both the fans and also creators of media do that just makes you go âwow! Oops all racism/colorism/featurism!â and when you point it out in any capacity people look at you like youâre crazy
im not letting u keep this in the tags say the quiet part out loud!!!! im studying animation in uni & this is completely true of it all up & down from students to professors to suits!!!

This is my home before the war and after the war how it becameđđđ
Before: After:
We have been through many wars before, but this war was not like the ones before it. Our lives were turned upside down. We became displaced from one place to another. We are the Anas family, residents of northern Gaza, specifically in the Shujaiya area. In the first week of the war, we fled our home because everyone considered our home to be in a dangerous area. We moved to the Rimal area, specifically in the middle of Gaza. There, we received the news that our home, which contained all our beautiful memories, was bombed. Suddenly, it was gone!!! Just thinking that your home, which you worked hard on and built from scratch and took a lot of your life, was gone in less than a second ! After a while, we left the sands to the Al-Zawaida area because of the heavy shelling. We stayed there for about two weeks, and then the terrorist army asked us to go to Rafah. We actually fled for the fourth time to Rafah and stayed there for two months, some of the most difficult days of our lives, as there was no way or means to live a normal life. đđ After that, because of the invasion of Rafah, we moved to Deir al-Balah. Now, we are in very difficult and oppressive circumstances.
We are asking you with all shame to support and stand by us in these difficult circumstances that everyone knows because we lost our home, our work and any stable source of income. Thank you all.

Hello
We a
I've been thinking about this for a while. I wonder if people actually think deep of it or is it too depressing to think more of it. I get depressed and crazy thinking about it. But I won't let it control me for too long.
A yandere that kidnapped you and isolated you from your family and friends, anybody from the outside world to keep you alone and dependent on them. Sooner or later you'll develop Stockholm Syndrome because of it. But you know you developed it and used it as a coping method to get used to the situation while trying not to be insane instead of pretending it's normal love. Like having sex with them to ignore the reality of the situation, prolonging it for more minutes of pleasure and skin contact it gets lonely without it. Wanting to forget they're your captors and a murderer, being their lover. Knowing that you'll rot in this house with them by your side saying the same thing "I love you." And going over the reasons why they would love you and why they need to keep you here replays in your mind while you're smoking your pain and suffering away.
Urgent appeal to those with merciful hearts.đš I hope you will help me save my child from his serious illness, which may lead to the worst if we do not address the bad situation that he and my husband are going through, who is injured in this war.
I am Najah Al-Hila, married to Khaled Muqdad from Gaza City. I am a mother of four young children. My family consists of Waleed, 9 years old, Mira, 6 years old, Ahmed, and Mayar, 3 years old.
Ahmed suffered from head cramps and increased electricity after his birth. He was given medication and had blood tests done every two months to make sure his health was stable. He suffered from these cramps in 2021. My husband also suffered from liver and digestive system problems five years ago and is still suffering from these problems. Over time, my husband was injured during the war, which made things worse for him. We thank God for everything. Because of the instability and unavailability of the medication, we face difficulties in buying medications due to their high prices. Now life has become very difficult and the prices of medications have increased due to their scarcity. Things have become more difficult due to the lack of money and his expensive treatment, which has led to its unavailability due to money. I hope that all donors and supporters will not forget Ahmed and his father Khaled in alleviating their pain by providing the costs of his treatment and buying him the appropriate medicine and food. We also do not forget his brothers from the malnutrition they suffered from during this difficult period.
Please everyone pay attention, I have been away from you for a while due to my health condition. I hope this situation is taken seriously. My husband and children's lives are in grave danger, I hope you do not suffer what he suffered. May your children and loved ones be safe and sound. I hope you help in their treatment and that their condition, which has worsened over time, stabilizes. Save Khaled and Ahmed from this disease that has afflicted them, please. Help us.
Note: My husband Khaled was working as a teacher before the war and obtained a teaching certificate from Al-Aqsa University and became an Arabic language teacher, but he was not lucky enough to find a job, so he became a worker due to the poor economic situation we are going through. At the end of my talk, he became injured and unable to work in this current situation. I hope you do not forget this and take it into consideration that there is a mother who seeks to preserve her husband and children by fighting for them. Your support is a support for me in these critical moments that we are living in and we may not live due to the repeated attacks by the occupation and the failure to reach an agreement to end the war.
We are now living in dilapidated tents, my child and husband are suffering.
We can no longer provide the necessities of life. My family's future is completely destroyed. I can no longer live in Gaza. I want to leave the Strip and treat my child and husband, so I need $5,000 per person.
I hope that everyone who watches my story will help me.
To get out of Gaza and find treatment and a better life for my children and family.
I am asking for help, and I hope that you will help me and donate to me.
To save my life from death.
I hope that you will donate even $25-50, it would be wonderful.
Please help me and my family survive the war and leave the Gaza Strip

it's very surreal to see posts about palestine dwindling down after the ceasefire. israel is still blocking aid to and trying to make life difficult for palestinians in gaza. we still have to continue to speak up about gaza.
in this ceasefire, many palestinians are trying to rebuild in attempts to try and return to what they had before the genocide. despite the heavy and unbearable loss of life that gaza has experienced, her people continue to try to make a better world for their children.
alaa is a mother of two young children. she wants to rebuild her house and get a better future for her children. please have heart and consider helping her out. her fundraiser has been verified.
"This is Hossamâs team, and we are sharing his final message :
âIf youâre reading this, it means I have been killedâmost likely targetedâby the Israeli occupation forces. When this all began, I was only 21 years oldâa college student with dreams like anyone else. For past 18 months, I have dedicated every moment of my life to my people. I documented the horrors in northern Gaza minute by minute, determined to show the world the truth they tried to bury. I slept on pavements, in schools, in tentsâanywhere I could. Each day was a battle for survival. I endured hunger for months, yet I never left my peopleâs side.
By God, I fulfilled my duty as a journalist. I risked everything to report the truth, and now, I am finally at restâsomething I havenât known in the past 18 months . I did all this because I believe in the Palestinian cause. I believe this land is ours, and it has been the highest honor of my life to die defending it and serving its people.
I ask you now: do not stop speaking about Gaza. Do not let the world look away. Keep fighting, keep telling our storiesâuntil Palestine is free.â
â For the last time, Hossam Shabat, from northern Gaza."
"The moment Palestinian journalists and photographers burned as a result of a direct Zionist bombing targeting their tent inside Nasser Hospital in Khan Yunis, south of the Gaza Strip.
The bombing was deliberate, extending to those who conveyed the truth through their lenses and cameras, turning their tent into fire, smoke, and screams.
They were targeted in the heart of the only remaining humanitarian space, within the premises of a hospital that was supposed to be safe.
At that moment, not only were their tools burned, but also the truth they tried to deliver to the world.
A tragic scene added to the series of crimes committed by the occupation against civilians, confirming that the free voice is one of the targets of this aggression."
Social media users from around the globe are paying tribute this week to journalist and activist Mousa Qous, a long-time prominent figure in Jerusalemâs Afro-Palestinian community.
Mousa was the executive director of the African Community Society in the Old City of Jerusalem. Much of his life was dedicated to the Palestinian cause and highlighting the often-overlooked experience of Afro-Palestinians.
He passed due to a fire in his home on 9 February and is survived by his wife Joharah and his children, Mohammad and Shaden. An article he wrote for Skin Deep Magazine has been heavily circulated since the news of his passing, in which he wrote about the history and nuanced experience of Afro-Palestinians.
âIt is a very specific experience, existing both as an overlooked part of a cityâs history and as a persecuted community within a persecuted community,â he wrote. In it, he also interviewed his daughter, 22-year-old Birzeit law student Shaden, who is also very active in the community.
âIsraeli forces do not treat the Afro-Palestinian community with humanity,â she said.
â[They] refer to us with the term Koshi [Hebrew for âNegroâ], while the local Palestinian community calls me Samra [Arabic for âDark womanâ]. I am always reminded of my colour and that I am different.â
Shaden, who is also an American citizen, has been very vocal about the Palestinian cause despite Israelâs continuous crackdown on pro-Palestine content online. Israel arrested her on 6 January on charges of âincitementâ for social media posts, delaying her release until 10 February â just mere hours after her fatherâs burial was completed.
There were also reports that Israeli forces stormed the Qous household while many were gathered in mourning, and detained Mousaâs brother, Nasser, the head of the Palestinian Prisonerâs Club.
Israel continues the massacres in Gaza... 232 souls taken in less than an hour! We are dying before your eyesâplease, donât leave us alone! Save us, do something... protest, donate, participate. I donât want to die!
my friend @yousef-falestinef is struggling really badly right now- her son is heavily dependent on milk, which is obscenely expensive in Gaza. she needs $150 to get her through the week. her chuffed is linked in her blog bio and right here. please give what you can.
Israel closes the crossings into the Gaza Strip and stops the delivery of food and medicine to besieged Gaza with the push of a button for the second day in a row.Let it be clear that Israel refuses to begin the second phase precisely because this phase of the agreement includes a complete Israeli withdrawal from Gaza and a final end to the âwar,â both of which Israel does not want. here
