" "
When they say "This" is freedom, they want you to abide in the one thing that remains constant and unstained by experience. And just rest in what simply is. Awareness is without form or thought.
If "This" is without form or thought, It is automatically always whole, free, and fulfilled in the sense that it cannot even conceptualize ideas such as lack, fear, etc.
When a thought arises, the one who rests in what is actual knows it is just an appearance within Awareness. It is recognition of Self that instills a knowing that whatever the contents of the dream, it does not matter because you are never not Awareness and you cannot be rid of Awareness. It will never touch what is your true, essential nature.
It's not resignation or complacency to difficult circumstances, but with recognition of Self, you will find that none of these were ever a threat to your true Being and it is an awareness of such that can rearrange the illusion and appearance because how does a threat appear if you didn't become aware of such. How does anything come to be within the illusion, were you not aware of such?
And Mind might get excited at this appearance and forgo this recognition in a forceful effort thinking "How can I do that again," in favor of serving a self that was never real and reinforcing misidentification with the weight of humanity when it was never serious; "This" is all there is.
This is why non-dualism blogs don't like to talk about manifesting, "hacking the dream," and etc, you will believe yourself to have manifested and satisfied a desire through non-dualism and then miss the point entirely trying to cater to a false self.
Because freedom didn't appear in a physical, tangible reality by way of manifestation. Freedom is what was always there, just recognized.
