I haven't posted here for ages as I'm trying to have a life away from Tumblr these days, but I thought I'd come back and share some pics from my recent visit to Scotland. We flew into Edinburgh, went to Midhope Castle and Doune Castle, saw the Kelpies, drove to Inverness, looked for Nessie, paid my respects at Culloden (the Fraser grave was laden with flowers and 2 people were draping themselves all over it taking selfies 🤐), visited Clava Cairns, drove to the Isle of Skye and then back to Glasgow on the most stunning route ever!!! Sam often says "Scotland you beauty" and he's not wrong. I want to go back already!! 😍😍😍

During an interview with CNN’s Anderson Cooper, Wilson said that Trump is still intimated by McCain.
“An actual man can own his mistakes and laugh at himself and have some self-referential moments where he doesn’t have of this constant fake swaggering act like Donald Trump,” Wilson said.
“Donald Trump, you know, for the faux macho act is just that, it’s a mile wide and an inch deep. A physical and moral coward, someone who ran from service from his country. The fact that he wants to hide his grades is self-evident because the guy obviously has the IQ as a room-temperature cup of yogurt,” he said.
Wilson added, “[Trump is] a man who has never shown any kind of accountability, responsibility, courage, or the integrity of any kind, in any sphere of his behavior. So John McCain is a rebuke to Donald Trump from beyond the grave. And he hates it. He doesn’t hate it because of the dossier. He hates it because Donald Trump knows that John McCain was more of a man than he could ever possibly hope to be.”
The U.S. president, engaged in several political fights back in Washington, seemed subdued as he began a pared down weekend of ceremonies to mark World War I.
As noted by David Frum, Trump could have been driven to the Aisne Marne American Cemetery. It’s only 50 miles from Paris.

Kavanaugh didn’t just DARVO his way through yesterday’s hearing: his bluster, tears, rage, and blame-shifting also allowed him to dodge a remarkable number of questions raised by the senators.
Ford, by contrast, answered virtually every question put to her.
Vox went through the transcript and painstakingly logged whether each question raised was addressed. They confirmed the impression that Kavanaugh was dodging the questions and Ford wasn’t, and produced an excellent interactive graphic that allows us to visualize the both witnesses’ forthrightness and drill down on each question and statement.

Never mind the fact that Mackenzie has actually lived in NYC, performed there and knows a slew of famous people there as well. So she goes there a lot. And it’s not uncommon to take pictures of the beautiful sunrise as well. Why does any of this make her frothy? It doesn’t. She’s living her best life. Little jealous females need to get a life.
