“How about I just raid the vending machine?”
SKYLAR MIKAELSON.
Laughing still she nodded her head in agreement. “Well if that’s the case I’ll know something is seriously wrong.” She grinned slightly teasing her. Having a best friend who was also family meant so much to Skylar. “Let’s do something from their holiday list.” She thought about the new drinks that were available again. “Oh and uh.. I wanted to talk about something when you’re back.” She figured one of the first people to tell that she was married should be Harmony.
“I would hope so.” Harmony laughed, nodding as she made a mental note. They were always making their way through coffee menus, even if it was excessive. She raised an eyebrow at Skylar’s comment as she found her shoes, “alright. Everything okay? At least give me that much before I head out so I don’t worry the whole time.”
CAROLINE FORBES.
“That’s what I figured. If you have it all planned out it’ll make things feel more festive and fun for you.” It was just they way Caroline always grew up.
“Planning definitely makes it easier, at least,” Harmony agreed. Her family had always made big celebrations of the holidays on every side, and that was hard to shake. “Do you have any of yours ready to go yet?”
ARCHIBALd HILDEGARD.
Archie smiled at the other. “Good. Me too… I’ve almost finished so if you wanna wait a few minutes I can walk you home. You know how crazy things can get tonight.” He admitted..
“Yeah, I can wait.” Harmony nodded with a small smile, setting her bag down on the bar. Even if she didn’t mind walking by herself, it was nice to have the company, “did you have a good night?”
ARCHIBALD HILDEGARD.
The male had just finished his shift and cleaned up the bar before locking up. He headed to the stock room to grab a new box of chips before noticing the other. " still here, harm? I thought you would wanna get out of here at top speed after tonight." He teased.
@harmonytcylor
“I was planning on it,” Harmony admitted, glancing up with a smile when she heard Archie. “I got talked into finishing closing shift stuff for one of the other girls, but I’m pretty much done.”
CAROLINE FORBES.
“I say that perfect time to start decorating for Christmas is just before Thanksgiving that way everything gets nice and festive and you don’t have to worry about it afterward.”
“That’s a good timeline to follow. It’s what my moms follow, but for some reason, we’re starting to put up Christmas decorations here right after Halloween,” she shrugged. “I guess it’s not too early to start getting festive.”
ELENA GILBERT.
“Hey, how’s the packing doing?” Elena asked as she had a soft smile on her face toward Harmony. She knew some of the staff at the hospital always liked to decorate, especially in where the kids were, it just made them feel al little better about things. But it was also a lot to do putting it up and taking it down.
“It’s going.” Harmony shrugged, offering a small smile when she saw Elena. She didn’t mind the decorations, even if it was a lot of work put only onto her. “Pretty much done, so it could be worse. What’s up?”
RILEY LOCKWOOD.
“Need any help?” Riley was always one of the first people to ask others if they needed help because she knew it was the right thing to do.
A polite refusal rose onto her lips before she glanced over and noticed the hanging ghost right behind Riley. “Actually, would you mind grabbing that for me?” She asked, gesturing with a small laugh. “Somehow I missed it.”
KOL MIKAELSON.
“Sighing is never a good sigh darling.” Kol walked up toward his niece as he light up a small smile on his lips.
Harmony glanced up at the sound of a familiar voice, smiling when she saw her uncle. “I got stuck alone on tear down duty,” she admitted, gesturing to the boxes. “The sigh was sort of to be expected.”
SKYLAR MIKAELSON.
“Right? Us not wanting coffee is the sign that something is really wrong.” She laughed nodding her head. That was the thing with her and Harmony, caffeine ran through their veins. “I’d love to sit here and wait… I can always set a movie up for us when you get back.”
“I'm pretty sure we’d have to be dying or something for that.” Harmony agreed, laughing along with her cousin. It was a relief to have someone who understood, and it helped that person was her best friend. “That sounds great,” she nodded, pushing herself off the floor and glancing around for her keys. “The usual, or something else?”
HAYLEY MARSHALL.
“Hopefully not too soon since you’ve already done all this work,” Hayley said as she gestured to the box that had all the Halloween decorations. She wasn’t sure if she would be changing out the holiday decorations so soon.
“I might recruit one of the guys to help put them up. They all kinda owe me since I did all these by myself.” Harmony admitted with a laugh. She pressed down on the lid to the tub to seal it and moved it out of the way, making a note to take it to storage before she left. “Are you planning on putting up any at Rousseau’s soon?”
@theboynextdccr
SKYLAR MIKAELSON.
Smiling, Skylar nodded her head. “You know I’ll never say no to a nice hot cup of coffee.” She was sure that she would be broke with the amount of coffee that she bought, but was glad her cousin, her good friend was a coffee addict like her.
“I know, we’d have to alert the hospital or something if either of us ever said no.” Harmony joked. It was mostly true though, and she could admit it. Coffee and caffeine in general were what kept her going half the time, “I can go grab some, if you aren’t ready to get up yet.”
HAYLEY MARSHALL.
Hayley had been picking up dinner to go when she saw Harmony with the giant tub. "Taking down or putting up?“ She said as she looked to the blonde. She hadn’t taken out the Christmas decorations for Rousseau’s yet but that didn’t mean the Grill wouldn’t take out theirs.
“Taking down, at least for now. I’m sure we’re pulling out the Christmas stuff soon enough.” Harmony admitted with a small laugh as she looked over toward her aunt. The end of the year always felt rushed through holidays, even if she didn’t mind it.
CAROLINE FORBES.
Around this time of year was hard because it went from Halloween to Thanksgiving to Christmas and was a constant battle of decorating and inviting people over. “I see everything’s finally away.”
“It’s only been a few days,” Harmony shrugged. She didn’t mind the decorations, even if she was left to put them up and take them down. “I think we’re pulling out the Christmas stuff soon.”
