HARPER.
❝ Which is unfortunate, nobody should be used to having bad days. ❞ Faith didn’t mind that Harper had questioned her extra credit project, and while she hadn’t told anyone much about her family mostly at fear they would look at her differently ( and she truly didn’t want that. ) ❝ An art project. Involving lots of paint! ❞ She couldn’t wait to tell her aunt, although painting wasn’t the same without being able to look over and see her aunt at her own easel painting. ❝ I’m sorry, that some guy accused you of making a mess and you had to clean it up. And it’s fine! I get it, nobody likes taking the blame for something they didn’t do, so you have ever right to be upset. Did you talk to him? Maybe it was a misunderstanding. ❞
“And yet even though people shouldn’t have bad days it’s just how it happens sometimes.” Harper said with a soft smile, “Oh no way I had no idea you liked art too that’s so cool. Would you mind if I had a look at it sometime?” Harper's mood had been lifted considerably. She loved any and all kinds of art and talking about any and all kinds of art. “That’s the thing. He just kinda yelled Harper did it when the teacher asked and then ran out of the room before anyone could ask anything.” Harper said with a bit of a frown on her face.
“Well thanks, I can’t imagine what it would be like without a fashion tour guide,” she admitted. Even Maddy would admit that it would be pretty funny if she fell down the stairs, not for her, but for everyone watching. she wouldn’t get mad if they laughed. “Like a safety rail, okay,” she replied with a nod, still looking unsure. Then her face brightened with a smile and she ducked behind the closet door, beginning to change, “So how do you know so much about this stuff?” she asked.
“True. It is a good thing you have me.” Harper said as she flicked her hair. “But really Maddy it’s no problem at all.” Harper smiled as she sat down on the bed and watched Maddy go behind the door to change into her next outfit. “Honestly I love clothes. It’s like a way to express yourself creatively. And I use to read teen magazines and look at fashion websites a lot. My aunt taught me how to do makeup when I was 8 so I’ve been doing this half my life.”Harper admitted. “So how does it look?”
“I can tell, people will do anything for a pretty painting. And you’re a good artist Harper.” Ben smiled at her, patting her knee in reassurance. “This is just the beginning though. We need a photographer who can hightlight the best of your merchandise too.”
“Oh well thank you Ben.” Harper said with a smile as Ben complimented her. “Oh I can take care of the photographs don’t worry about that, I think it’s more of the logistics of it I need help with. Like figuring out how much to charge, Dealing with customer complaints, how to actually get al of this to the post office without Victor thinking I’m doing some sort of scam. Thant kind of stuff.” Harper admitted. Sure she could paint but she wasn’t sure she could handle the business side.
HARPER.
❝ I understand, we all have bad days sometimes. ❞ Faith admitted with a nod of her head, in understanding ( since she truly did understand that not everyone was as cheerful as she was all the time. ) ❝ I was finishing a project for extra credit, and I decided it’d be easier just to finish it there so I could turn it in while I was there, but it took a little longer than I anticipated. How about you? Why’d you have to stay behind? ❞ The short redhead questioned as walked alongside Harper, in the direction of the house.
“Exactly. We all do. Some more than others” Harper said with a smile glad that Faith seemed less upset at her. “Oh what was the project on if you don’t mind me asking?” Harper’s curios side had kicked in and she was intrigued as to what kind of project would have kept faith at school so late. “Oh I had to help clean the science lab because some idiot accused me of making a mess during our lessons when it was him.” Harper could feel herself starting to get angry again. “Sorry not your fault I just don’t like taking the blame for something I didn’t do,” Harper admitted.

Henry: Um, I guess I could? Why? We haven't said anything weird or secret.
Henry: Or you're all going to fail midterms.
Harper: True.... true. Well I'm just glad you found him or can find him.
Harper: Who needs midterms anyway?
“Some dude in my first period named Lucas.”
“The athletic one from America? Lyds why don’t you just scare him or tell him to bug off because he’s being a hobknocker? Ooooh or do you need help with revenge or something on him cause I’m in.”
❝ Thank you for reassuring me, it makes me feel better. ❞ Faith admitted, and the reassurance put the redhead at ease and made her feel so much better than she had. ❝ Okay good, I wouldn’t want to offend you or anything it’d make me feel horrible. And I agree, sometimes walking around is so great helps me with a lot of things. ❞ She gave a nod of her head in agreement to Harper’s words. ❝ Would you mind if I walked with you back to Anubis, and I did too actually – I had something I wanted to do so I didn’t get to leave earlier like i had planned. ❞
“Good. I’m glad it did. I wouldn’t want you to feel upset over something you didn’t even do.” Harper admitted to the redhead with a smile. Sure at times she could be rude or even come across a bit standoffish but really that was to people she really didn’t know that well or that were acting that way towards her in the first place. Neither of which Harper had believed Faith had been doing in the first place. “Well since were heading in the same direction why not? So why id you have to stay behind at school” Harper asked the girl curiously as they headed of towards the house.
“I swear if I hear anyone else calling me a short stack of pancakes or asking me how the weather is down here, I will beat them to a pulp!”
“Wait someone called you a short stack of pancakes? Who was it?”

Teddy pocketed his phone and sat up on his bed. Since the school year started, he considered himself to at least be acquaintances with the others in the house. He wanted to get to know them better, even though his practice schedule often got in the way of that, so he had sent a text to Harper. The housemate he knew the best was Louis, and that was because they played sports together.
He pushed himself up from the bed, then he walked out of his room and toward the lounge where they agreed to meet. Teddy sat down on the end of the sofa, stretching his arm out along the back as he waited. A few minutes passed, and he saw Harper enter the room.
“Hey!” he greeted with a short wave.
Harper was really unsure as to why she was even going to talk to Teddy. She knew she hadn’t been lying when she had told teddy that he hadn’t made her angry. But that really was because she hardly interacted with the boy alone at all enough for him to make her angry. At one point Harper even considered not going at all but she knew teddy would track her down and she wasn’t sure how her, Lydia and teddy in one room would go. Quickly she told Lydia she was going somewhere and left the room arriving at the Lounge later then she had texted.
Hoping that Teddy wasn’t going to be to upset at her lateness Harper stepped into the room and was greeted with a hi from teddy. “Hey” Harper said with a smile before getting straight to the point. “So why did you want to talk to me?”
“Hey, hey no need to lose hope right away. Here, let’s sit and make a rudimentary plan. We learned about it in class last year, if I remember.” Ben sat down beside her, pulling out a piece of paper and pens. “Okay so, you’re making paintings right? Let’s say, hypothetically, you make one a day, so you’ll only be able to sell one a day. So, instead, we could arrange delivery at maybe once a month, given shipping happens fast enough.” He wrote all of this down, and then waited for her to respond. “I don’t mean to cramp your creative space or anything…sorry.”
All Harper could do was stare at Ben when he started to make out a plan for her business idea. Before sitting down and listing to what he was saying. “Yeah it would be paintings. I would do sculptures as well but I thought they might be harder to post since their all different weights. Ooohh I could do once a month and if a customer needs it earlier I could just tell them that they need to wait.” Harper said catching onto the idea. en no why would you thinking your cramping my creative space.... this is actually really helpful and not at all creative but important too.” Harper really hoped she made sense there.
Harper heard what she had muttered and let put a laugh. “Pretty much. Pain is beauty my friend and I am trying to make this less painful for you.” While it would be kinda funny to see her fall down the stairs Harper decided to go easy on her since she really looked like she needed help and she was being nice, “The stairs have a banister for a reason. Just grip onto that and you should be fine.” Harper smiled widely when she heard Madeline complimenting the dress. “And it would look amazing on you. Now go try it on.”

❝ Are you sure you’re not mad at me? ❞ Faith now was just double-checking that she hadn’t offended Harper at all, even though it didn’t seem like it she just wanted to be certain the last thing she wanted was to hurt anyone in any shape way or form. ❝ For speaking my feelings.. I just wanted to make sure I don’t hurt yours is all. And I’m not sure, I mean I did before I kind of went into my own little world just not so much now. Where are you headed? Or where were you headed? If you don’t mind my asking? ❞
“I’m positive Faith, You did nothing wrong, I was the one who snapped at you by mistake.” Harper reassured the red head with a smile before chuckling. “Faith you words were fine. They didn’t offended me at all. Oh walking around doing nothing is sometimes the best thong to do,” Harper said nodding her head as it was sometimes something she did when she wanted to get creative. “Back to Anubis. I got stuck back at the school today which is why I was in a bad mood and snapped at you.” Harper said calmly
