Preference #4: airport goodbyes [request]
Thanks for the request Anonymous! (why is everyone anon lol) It’s not boring, I like it actually. Please send in more requests guys!
The whole ride to the airport you were silent. Harry noticed this, so he comforted you. “Hey, love, it’s only for a month,” he pointed out. “I know, but who will be my cuddle buddy?” You pouted. “You can go spend time with y/friend’s/n,” he suggested. “Then time will surely fly by and before you know it, I’ll be right back home!” You sighed and gave him a half-hearted smile. Then the car pulled over, and you both were on your way to the terminal. There were security everywhere; they had blocked off the fans and made you both a path. You now had successfully entered the airport without interruption, and once inside, he pulled you into a hug. “I’ll miss you so much,” you cried out, a tear slipping down your cheek. “Same, babe, same,” he sadly said. “Call me when you reach there, okay?” You asked. “I promise,” he told you, and gave you a goodbye kiss, which lingered for a few seconds, and then pulled away. He walked away and you started tearing up, and you caught up to him and hugged him from behind, holding him really tight. He stopped in his tracks and turned around, telling you, “you can call me whenever you want, okay? But I have to go now or else I’ll miss my flight.” You nodded and he left you, looking back once to give you a wave.
You hugged the teddy bear Liam gave you and looked out the window, thinking about Liam. You traced the raindrops rolling down the pane and watched as the boys' car drove off. Liam had told you to stay at home because the fans won't bombard you, and you listened. But now you just really miss him. Without thinking, you called up a taxi and went to the airport. When you finally reached there, you checked the time, and thankfully there were still 15 minutes before Liam's boarding time. You glanced around the terminal, which was hard because you were using sunglasses to go unnoticed, and sighed when you couldn't find him. "Y/n?" A voice calls behind you. You turned around and saw Liam. You gave him a small peck on the cheek, and said, "I love you." "Me too, but why did you come here?" "Because I wanted to stay with you until the very last second." And that was exactly what you did.
You had been calm the whole journey to the airport. But when it was finally time for Louis to enter the gate, that was when you finally broke. "No please, kitten, I have to go," he told you. You were hugging him really tight and he couldn't break apart. You finally let go and cried into his shoulder, telling him how much you'll miss him. It made sense, as he was going on a world tour and he would be gone for 8 months. You collected yourself up and looked at him with puffy eyes and his face fell. "We can still Skype right?" He asked, and you nodded. “I guess,” you mumbled. “It’s just... 8 months is a long time, and, uh, you might... I don’t know... find yourself... another girl,” you whispered the last part. “Don’t be silly y/n, how could I possibly find another girl when I’m constantly travelling around?” He laughed, trying to lighten up the mood. “Yeah, I guess you’re right,” you smiled. “See, there’s the smile I like,” he wiped your tears off with his fingers. You stared into his eyes. His sea blue eyes you wouldn’t see for quite a while. He soon had to go and you shared a short sweet goodbye kiss and you waved at each other until you couldn’t see each other.
You were sitting on one of the cold hard airport seats with Niall, dreading the moment he has to go. You both never liked when he had to leave, and always try to make the last few days count. He rested an arm around your neck, and you leaned back, him acting as a pillow. “Hey, I have an idea,” his face lit up. “I’m gonna send you postcards from every city I visit!” “But Niall won’t it take like a two months or something to arrive? You’ll be home by then,” you said. “Well then we can look at them together,” he said, getting visibly more excited. “You know how I am, just picking out random cards from the souvenir shops and not even looking at the content?” You laughed and said, “okay then, let’s do that.” He soon had to leave, and you both hugged really tight, as if if you let go he might never come back. “I love you so so so much,” you told him. “I love you too, I’m gonna miss you so much," he replied, breaking off from the hug. “I guess you should get going,” you said, glancing at the time. “Are you trying to get rid of me?” He smirked. “Nah, I’m just trying to get rid of you before I start crying.”
